Very cool old/historical building in a perfect location in Kalmar - with the cathedral at your doorstep. Decent rooms and good breakfast selection. Would not stay other place if visiting Kalmar again.

Nice hotel in central Kalmar. Breakfast was not really the same level as the rest of the hotel but I think that is because they were in some kind of rebuild.

Tyvärr var inte första intrycket bra. Utanför hotellet fanns inga möjligheter att stannabilen för urlastning av bagage!!! Orsaken var att hotellet hade byggt upp sin uteservingjust där! Personalen helt oförstående när man påtalade att detta innebar att man fick dramed sig bagaet från en parkering 200 meter från hotellet. Ingen bra start!! Vi återkommer inte!!

Tyvärr så var det ingen vidare städning. Det var spindlar och dammigt spindelnät i taket, det låg gammal snus mellan sängen och sängramen. Och det var tankrämsfläckar på hyllorna i badrummet. När jag påtalade detta för personalen vart jag erbjuden en läsk i ersättning, nej tack. Slitet rum överlag. Inte värt pengarna!

Det var olidligt varmt på hotellet och särskilt på rummen. Som en bastu. Mådde jättedåligt. Även högljutt med hotellets egen uteservering alldeles utanför fönstret, ibland med liveunderhållning dessutom. Rekommenderar att inte boka detta hotell.
