We watched the sunset from the lanai every single evening and never got tired of it. The pool area was pristine and never overcrowded, and having beach gear available saved us so much hassle on our first day. Little touches like that make a huge difference and show how much thought has gone into the guest experience. Communication with the host was seamless — fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful when we had a question about local snorkeling spots. You can tell this property is managed by people who actually care, not just about the booking, but about making your trip truly memorable. Whether you’re coming with family, a partner, or a group of friends, this is the kind of place that makes a Maui vacation unforgettable. We’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the years — this one stands in a category of its own."

"We checked in late, close to 11:30 as our flight was late. Elevetaor wasn't working so lugged all our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Keys didn't work. Called front desk, they told us to come try another set. Left all our luggage and tired kids to walk down to the lobby to try the new keys. They didn't work. The woman at the front desk told us she'd send someone else to try. They tried and shocking that the keys still didn't work. Went back and forth with front desk woman for over an hour as she kept calling someone to figure out what to do. Past midnight now. She said she'd put us in another room for the night down a floor (yes, lugging all our bags down the stairs now) and she wouldn't charge us for it. She was expecting us to pay for the extra room, when they couldn't even get us into the room we already paid for. Elevator didn't work for the duration of the stay. Room was fine, resort was fine, front desk staff was not very helpful. "

"Last night on an extended trip to Asia, stopped over in Maui. A perfect end to our trip (despite the inclement weather). We have always stayed in the Ka'anapali area of Maui, but due to weather Wailea was better option for this trip and The Four Seasons didn't disappoint. Would definitely consider staying again on our next trip to Maui."

"We got caught between the Maui Banyan rental group and the actual Maui Banyan resort when trying to resolve issues. We had 3 days without water but couldn’t get any help from Expedia, the front desk because it was Maui Banyan or the Maui Bangan rental group because they were not onsite. My recommendation would be to rent directly from Maui Banyan. "
