A really welcoming hotel, perfectly located near near Kenroku-en, Kanazawa Castle Park, Omicho Market, and not too far from Higashiyama. Easy walk into downtown area too. Modern Japanese room was spacious and comfortable. There are good laundry facilities too, with multiple machines.

The property was well maintained, very clean, the decor was minimalist and very nicely designed. The laundry room was very useful (and popular with guests in the evenings), the 2 tea tables on the 3rd and 5th floor were often empty and peaceful for sitting and enjoying the free tea. My only issue was that we didn't get the expected room upgrade at check-in for Expedia Gold VIP status even though it looked like larger rooms were still available on the website.

We stayed in Kumu hotel in Kanazawa and I honestly think this was our favourite hotel our entire trip. The double bunk loft room was amazing. Staff friendly and so helpful. Rented their bikes for the day and that was really fun! The hotel is impeccably clean and great location.

Great place for business or family vacation stay.

The suite was super clean and comfortable. I saw some reviews complain about noisy street. Quite conveniently located between the samurai district and the Omicho Market, 20 minute walk from the train station, 5 minute walk to Kanazawa Castle, etc. All this said, we had booked their smallest room with bunker beds, which was really small and with basically no surface to put the suitcases. The suite, however was amazing.

The room is super spacious and nice design. The only thing I didn’t like was that the mattresses are separated. The staff was kind but a little bit cold. However, we got a free birthday present (drink ticket) which was super nice! We would definitely recommend the hotel.
