“Lovely welcoming staff at reception! Super quiet room except for wonderful birdsong in the morning. Beautiful old furniture, artefacts , brass lift, wooden flooring …. Nice swimming pool too! ”

“Lovely clean room with views over Kandy. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The roof top bar is an added bonus. The hotels location in the Kandy hills is perfect. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but close enough to walk down to the lake.”

“This is a very nice modern hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff all excellent and breakfast was great too. Lovely infinity pool. The hotel is right at the top of a mountain so access is a bit tricky but the views are stunning. We were informed that the hotel didn’t have a liquor licence. However, they can actually sell wine and beer - it would have been helpful to know that. ”

“On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile. On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. Luckily I brought earplugs so I wasn't bothered that much. There was a good amount of spider webs around the A/C and one live but small roach on the towel rack. Overall it was a pleasant stay,...
