"I stayed with my boyfriend at the resort for 5 nights after last minute plan changes due to hurricane Lowell on Kauai. We are so happy we stayed at the Mauian, it was so relaxing and wonderful. The location is perfect, it's not as commercial as other places like Kaanapali area. Napili Bay beach is absolutely beautiful, also a short 5min walk to Kapalua Beach. There is a market 2min drive (20min walk), Bob's Snorkeling to rent equipment around the corner. Free parking is also a bonus. Our favorite things at the Mauian were enjoying coffee and Hawaiian buns (provided by Mauian) in the morning on the beach, swimming in crystal clear waters (beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties, and beach towels provided by Mauian) and snorkeling nearby, having lunch and dinner at the delicious Sea House Restaurant next door, and watching the sunsets. We had a partial ocean view room #A202 on the second floor, had our own balcony which was so nice. The room was very clean, comfortable, AC was great, option to cook as well. Overall, I can't say enough good things about the Mauian, it exceeded our expectations and I cannot wait to come back."
