Our stay was good. The staff were friendly and took good care of us. The complimentary breakfast is very good with some choice. Good access to beach and nice looming pool. Bed was comfortable and air con worked well. Our room was near the main road so was noisy at times. Overall a nice stay but would pick room nearer pool/beach next time.

Not clean and so structurally unkept I’m pretty sure I had every bug in Amed in my room. No hot water, toilet didn’t flush, and I had to ask for the room to be cleaned, which they interpreted as just make the bed. Staff was very rude. Decent breakfast and nice looking property, but if you want to be comfortable I’d go elsewhere.

Petit hôtel sur la plage, agréable mais cher pour ce que c'est. J'ai passé 3 nuits le ménage n'a jamais été fait, il fait demander de l'aide pour les bagages....par contre pour essayer de vous vendre une excursion snorkeling ils sont là ! Les chambres sont spacieuses mais le clim est dirigée sur la tête de lit, j'ai du refaire le lit de l'autre côté, tête aux pieds pour éviter la névralgie au réveil. Bruyant, pas isolé thermiquement non plus donc la clim tourne à fond mais l'air frais s'échappe. Pas de serviette pour la piscine.

rust en charme direct aan zee.

We hadden een week geboekt en hebben die nog met 3 dagen verlengd. De ruime, maar eenvoudig ingerichte, bungalows liggen rond een zwembadje, direct aan het strand en vlakbij prachtige snorkelgebieden. Bovendien is er een warung (restaurantje) direct naast gelegen, waar je ook een drankje kunt bestellen dat bij je kamer wordt bezorgd. Ontbijt wordt op de veranda geserveerd. Maddie en zijn personeel zijn erg vriendelijk en doen alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Als je iets vraagt proberen ze het voor je te regelen. Excursies, duikeruitrusting, motorfiets, alles kan worden geboekt zonder dat het opdringerig wordt. Kortom: geweldig. Enige minpuntje is dat dit stukje Amed nog erg in ontwikkeling is. Er zijn dus nog wat kleinschalige bouwactiviteiten. Die blijven gelukkig wel beperkt tot redelijke tijden en zijn over een paar weken afgerond.

Very good value for money, we had a cabin by the pool and the ocean to the left. Enjoyed watching the salt manufacturing process on a daily basis. Impossible to miss since it’s smack in between the pool and the ocean. Extremely relaxing place.

Short stay at Classic Beach Villas

We had a short stay at Classic Beach Villas because we decided to meet up with friends and spend a few days near them. The cabin was basic and clean with and air conditioner and comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We spent some time in the pool enjoying the view to the sea. Breakfast was simple but very tasty, I had a omelette with coffee and fruit. The only drawback was the village, although reasonably busy with diving and snorkelling tourists it was a bit unpleasant to walk around.

Offbeat Home away from Home

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. I love this offbeat small place. Nothing fancy but bed is great and staff are friendly. Beautiful location and great place to chill by the pool or beach. Easy access around Amed.

Nice accomodation but a bit hard to get to

Nice accomodation just on the beach. However it's not quite accesible with a car. We had to carry our luggage on a step valley for 50 meters. Walking on the side of the ocean (to get to any other places) after susnet can be tricky because the lack of lights. Also there are a couple of local dogs around which get activated during that time.

Apart from the welcoming staff who informed us that they were overbooked. The hotel facilities are far from the quality-price standard around Bali. The facilities were very basic: room without much light, very basic toilet, small hot water tank, etc. The restaurant tiny and the view to the sea is cut off by a lady working getting salt out of the ocean in the same business...

Simple and relaxed Classic Beach Villas are located near the northern end of Amed as you approach from Amlapura. Travel time from Kuta is around 3 hours. Impressions from the dusty road outside are not encouraging but once inside the compound it offers rustic charm. The compound features approximately a dozen free standing villas made of timber, ratten and thatched roofs. The villas are located on the edge of the compound and encircle an infinity pool and small cafe. Looking towards the beach it is surprising to see a traditional salt making facility complete with brine ponds and timber canoe-shaped salt evaporators. The whole vibe is casual with matching service. Staff are friendly but don’t expect anything to be rushed. However don’t hesitate to ask staff for anything such as motor bike hire, car and driver and laundry and it will all be taken care of. Our villa (villa 1) features a large bed with mosquito net and minimal furnishings. There is a simple semi enclosed bathroom attached. The deck areas out front facing the pool and garden courtyard featuring daybeds are very pleasant to relax in and people watch. The beach is pebbles and black sand but the water is relatively clean. Spectacular views of Gunung Agung (volcano) are on offer. Beach side cafes immediately adjacent offer great cheap food. The villa cafe offers simple tasty breakfast, snacks and drinks. It’s pleasing to see the traditional way of life continuing along the beach with fishing

WoW très bel endroit malgré le fait qu’il faisait gris. Belle piscine, belle chambre. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais bon, avec des beaux fruits. La plage est de roches, ce qui rend la marche plus difficile, mais très agréable avec les petits restaurants. Le terrain de l’hôtel donne sur la plage alors en quelques secondes, on y est. Très bon service des membres du personnel, un en particulier, qui nous a conduit, sous la pluie, en scooter, à la « clinique » la plus proche puisque mon conjoint s’est ouvert la tête sur un poteau de bois. Rien de grave mais valait mieux pas prendre de risque et il a été très serviable! Merci beaucoup!

Beautiful Villa

A beautiful Villa situated at beach front with few restaurants nearby. The room is very romantic with net over it. It will be better if it comes with a wardrobe The breakfast came with few choices of bread toast, plan & fruit pan cake. omelet. fruits flatter & hot beverage. Strand leider sehr schmutzig, Badezimmer sind teilweise offen, der 20cm Geko wurde vom Personal auch auf Nachfrage nicht aus unserem Zimmer entfernt, das Frühstück ist lächerlich, man hatte die Wahl zwischen Tee und Kaffee und drei verschieden Gerichten,welche einem dann aufs Zimmer gebraucht wurden. Die Portionen warnen viel zu klein und mehr gab es nicht. In der Hotel Umgebung ist leider nicht viel los.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est agréable mais l'hôtel ne vaut pas le prix que l'on a payé. Pas de pression dans la douche, eau chaude pas toujours au rdv, porte de notre bungalow cassée et fermée avec un cadena. L'hôtel semble un peu abandonné... Ce fut l'hôtel que l'on a payé le plus cher et ou le service proposé n'était pas à la hauteur. Déçus. Ne pas se fier au photo, l'endroit ne ressemble pas du tout à ce que l'on avait vu sur internet.

Schöne und gemütliche Anlage, direkt am Strand. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie waren auch behilflich bei der Organisation von Ausflügen. Auch unsere Kinder (13 und 15) hatten viel Spaß. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt. Nur in der Dusche war der Wasserstrahl etwas dürftig. Normal kein Problem, aber unsere Tochter hat lange und dicke Haare, da wurde das Haarewaschen zur Geduldsprobe. Strand sehr sauber, Superaussicht zum Mount Agung. Die Warungs (Restaurants) rechts und links direkt am Strand waren superlecker und günstig. Das Frühstück wurde direkt auf der Terrasse serviert. Es war einfach, aber gut und ausreichend. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen !!

Comfortable and Clean, but once again not expecting us

The property is managed by a group of 5 teenage boys. They do their best, however, seem pretty clueless about some things. The bar is nonexistent. I asked for the special of the bar, Pirate Punch and was informed in very limited English that they had just gotten the sign from the owner, but had no product. That was prevalent. Keep it simple and just get a Batang, Coke or a bottle of wine.
