"Well located hotel located near several onsens and close to the main street. Not too far from the moving sidewalk to the lifts (although there is an unavoidable very steep hill). We booked a room with a private bathroom. The room was clean and of a decent size. Main downssides were the significant premium we paid over other hotels, which we in retrospect have trouble believing was justified, and the very poor western breakfast options. Breakfast was comprised of mostly Japanese options...

"A classic no-frills ryoken in a great location. We stayed here for a ski trip and we're very happy with he stay. The owner is super friendly and accomodating. We loved being able to walk everywhere and there was a nice spot nearby to park our rental car."
