โThis was a hidden gem, and the staff was better than anywhere I have been. The location is very secluded, but it has an environment of nature. Love the people that work there. My only complaint was a short stay and wanted more time. Definitely next time.โ
โThe staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. Personally I liked Peppermintโs breakfast better than buffet breakfast, because we ate everything thatโs served. No waste, so eco-friendly.

โA really old-fashioned Japanese onsen experience like nothing else. We ate in the Japanese restaurant one night and French the other evening. The food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable but old fashioned. I would highly recommend the room with a private onsen - we saw tanuke (Japanese raccoon dogs) approach whilst we were bathing which was a really special experience. We hiked to the ridge (5 hours return) through a beautiful forest.โ
