여주인 Despina는 자기가 하는 일을 좋아하는사람. 이멜 답을 친절하게 해주었고 아무 시설 없는 도착 피사다 항으로 렌트카를 보내주었고 도착시 생맥주와 주스를 제공혔다. 현금 결제 위주의 섬여행에서 카드결제기를 사용하도록 노력해 첫번째 사용자가 되게 하여 여행 경비에 큰도움이 됨. 이탈리아어도 잘하고 음식을 해 먹을 수 이어 장기 투숙객들 많음.

Despina and Manolis were extraordinary in their hospitality! The kindness and generosity was incredible! The accommodations were comfortable and thoroughly furnished. The location was easy to navigate into town. This is a destination I will definitely seek out and revisit.

Great place, kind hosts and a gorgeous setting! It’s a really beautiful place, and the owners takes great care of it and you as a guest! The location is perfect, it’s a nice little stroll to get to Sami and it’s no longer than 40min to drive anywhere on the island. There are also a lot of things to see and experience in the local area, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful Melissani cave.

Stay here if you want to feel like at home

Despina and Manolis, the owners of this wonderful place are by far the nicest hosts we have ever met. Despina already awaited us when arriving at the fence. Our room was perfect and had everything we needed. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed to cook our own dinner. We had a nice balcony, a TV - also with English and French programmes and also all necessary bath accessoires such as shampoo, shower gel and towels. Everything was super clean as well! The garden is beautiful and has a pool, a hammock, a nice place to sit and relax as well as a ping pong table. Despina and her family treated us with pure kindness just like a part of the family. In the evenings we were sitting outisde together and talking or watching soccer games. The allover atmosphere with Despina and Manolis' family, as awell as the other guests was amazing. I wouldn't wanna miss this stay, if you go to Kefalonia! 2minutes to the beach, bakery next door, melissani cave in walking distance and the harbour of Sami as well as the beautiful Antisamons beach super close.. We are glad to say that we did not just have a wonderful stay at Kalypso, but also found new friends in Despina and Manolis! We hope to welcome you in Berlin any time soon and also skype to practice Despinas German (she speaks 5 !!!!! languages)! Nice regards Jakob and Anni

So friendly

The apartments were spotless, the hospitality was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble, we went in a large group and this was not a problem. Despina sorted out the transfers, lovely air conditioned mini bus. The location is great.

Super herzliche Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist sehr weiter zu empfehlen. Besitzer geben sich sehr viel Mühe alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Frühstück bietet Abwechslung und ist sehr lecker. Unterkunft liegt an einer Straße, die es schnell ermöglicht ins Umland zu gelangen. Wen kleinere Geräusche von Autos stark beeinträchtigt, einfach eines der hinteren Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen. Um die Ecke befindet sich gleich eines der besten Tavernen, in denen wir auf Kefalonia gegessen haben. Zum Abschied gab es kleine Andenken was die Herzlichkeit unterstreicht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Fantastic hosts made our trip

Owners are so friendly with welcome drinks. Nothing was a problem and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The experience was a very traditional family home which represents great value for money. Definitely recommend.

Kleine familiengeführte Apartmentanlage mit kleinem Pool in der Nähe von Sami. Die Eigentümer sind sehr liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Apartment mit Wohn-Ess-Bereich und Schlafzimmer, Dusche/WC und Balkon. In der kleine Küchenzeile gab es Kochgelegenheit, Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine. Die Apartments sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Neben dem Apartmenthaus gibt es eine Bäckerei. Zum Strand läuft man ca 2 Minuten, nach Sami am Strand entlang ca 15 Minuten. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, würden es aber jederzeit auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt buchen. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Absolutely brilliant place. The host is charming and couldn't do enough for us. Coffee and biscuits when we arrived. Coffee and biscuits agin the next morning. The apartment was fantastic. Do yourself a favour stay here.

Fantastic Guesthouse

Excellent apartment in a lovely guesthouse with owners who couldn't do enough for you. Despina and Manolis made our stay in Kefalonia special and I would wholeheartedly recommend their guesthouse. Sami is only a twenty minute walk along a beautiful promenade and the stunning Melissani caves are also a short walk away. Stay at the Kalypso if you get the opportunity!

A great week in Karavomilos

We had a wonderful stay at Kalypso apts, Karavomilos, Sami and really recommend these family-run studio/apartments for value for money, comfort and cleanliness and location. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable. Facilities included great high-speed wifi, hairdryer, AC , TV, fridge and basic cooking equipment as well as a small pool and nice surrounding outdoor area. We had a lovely little terrace where we enjoyed our breakfasts, made even nicer by the fresh bread and croissants bought from the bakery next door. Despina and Manolis made us feel very welcome and provided lots of good advice about places to visit around Sami and further afield. Kalypso apts is well located for exploring the island, particularly the south, east and northern areas. It is possible to walk into Sami in about 1/2 hour where there are tavernas, bars, shops, ATMs etc. but as we had a car we could get to Argostoli, Antisamos, Skala, Fiskardo and the wonderful Myrtos beach really easily. We learned that some of their customers have been visiting regularly for the last 15 years - a major sign of satisfaction! We will definitely visit again if we go back to Kefalonia.

This family-owned hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the owners were extremely hospitable. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel. I will be returning in the future!

Visiting Sami? You HAVE to stay here!

Even before we arrived, Despina was helping us with advice on taxis (expect to pay E50 from the airport to Sami - this is a fair price). She can also recommend car hire, which may work out cheaper than if you try to arrange this on your own. There is a bus service, but their frequency may not suit your plans so check. As soon as we arrived, Despina was very welcoming and offered us a drink in the shade. She then showed us to our nice, cool room and left us to settle in. She knows the area very well, of course, and can make all sorts of recommendations for you. The accommodation is very clean, with wifi, air-con and TV, and a kitchenette area. The garden, which I loved, has a spa pool, loungers and umbrellas for shade. They have play things for children too, if you require. You will also notice swallows, butterflies and bright flowers everywhere. A bakery next door sells delicious breads, cakes, honey, eggs and ice cream, plus two nearby mini-markets sell other basic provisions you may need. We recommend this place very highly if you are staying in Sami, for either a short or long stay.

Wonderful place, Wonderful people, 5 stars!!!!

Kalypso Studios is much more than just a place a stay. Despina will take great pleasure in helping you book and organize your trip. She told us where to go, where to eat (we are foodies, and two restaurants she mentioned, we fell in love with, and what do to do). If we had a question, she had an answer. She booked us our car rental for a 1/3 of what other companies could do. We really enjoyed our mornings, where Despina graciously offered us coffee and we talked, laughed, and enjoyed the layback attitude that is Kefalonia. Now, about the rooms. We had a wonderful room with everything we needed. A small fridge and working burners so that we could eat breakfast in our room and store water. The rooms were clean and very nice! You are at a walking distance from Sami and right next door to bakery. This was my first time in Greece, and what is clear from this trip is that the greeks are the most generous, hospitable, and honest people i have ever met. And the crown to these values really go to Despina and Manolis. A wonderful couple who take pride and put their hearts into running a beautiful guest house. They have a beautiful family. So if you want a real experience as well as advice as to what to do, this is the place to be!

Perfect Place with Best Hosts

Kalypso is definitely the right place to stay when you are in Kefalonia, not only because it is within walking distance to Melissani cave, close driving distance to Drogarati cave, and available bus service to Fiscardo, it is also because of the hospitality and good sense of humour from the hosts, Despina and Manolis, which makes the entire stay memorable and enjoyable. They helped us a lot with renting a car, offering to lend us their bicycles, finding the bus to Fiscardo, introducing places to visit, and of course searching for kourabiedes in September (; Our unit is also clean and spacious, with a balcony overlooking their pool. Despina and Manolis are usually around the ground floor and ready to share their knowledge of the island to facilitate your travel plans. Their Greek coffee is also highly recommended as I have at least 1 every morning. My friend and I enjoyed our stay there very much and we both agree when we visit Kefalonia again, we will stay at Kalpyso (:

Zeer gastvrij, gezellig en net appartement.

De eigenaars zijn zeer gastvrij. Het appartement is ruim, schoon en comfortabel ingericht. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Het is een 2-sterren appartement maar het is voor Griekse begrippen erg verzorgd en compleet. Wij kregen een 3 persoonsappartement, 2 kamers, erg ruim, terwijl we een studio geboekt hadden. Ook het balkon was ruim. Het ziet er allemaal erg verzorgd uit. 3 keer per week worden de handdoeken en het beddengoed verschoond. Iedere dag, behalve zondag wordt er schoon gemaakt. Het vuilniszakje wordt iedere dag verschoond. De eigenaars zijn altijd bereid met je mee te denken. Iedere morgen zetten ze koffie voor hun gasten en is er tijd voor een praatje als je dit wilt. De 3 kinderen zijn lief en rustig en erg beleefd. Zij hebben hun eigen woning maar je hoort niets. Er is een mooie tuin een terras met een mooi uitzicht en een klein zwembad. Naast het appartement is een bakkerij met heerlijk brood en banket enzovoort. De eigenaar kan je tegen een vergoeding, in overleg, van het vliegveld ophalen en weer weg brengen. Een klein nadeel is dat het appartement aan een doorgaande weg in het dorp ligt waar te hard wordt gereden. Aan de zij/achterkant van het appartement heb je een mooi uitzicht over de baai van Sami. Het appartement is zeker een aanrader.

Studios vicino sami a due passi dal mare

Un soggiorno , piacevole e tranquillo arricchito dalla cordialità e simpatia dei nostri ospiti, sempre gentili e disponibili per preziosi consigli circa le mete da raggiungere. La località di karavomilos è una ottima base per tante escursioni . Sicuramente da consigliare !!!!
