Loved our stay here ! The hotel is located in a great location within a 10 minute walking distance to the main area of Argostoli. The hotel has a great pool with an amazing view, 5 minute walk to the beach. Also, the staff is so sweet here, and have 2 beautiful dogs, and cats who are sometimes on the property. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This property is the most beautiful place i have stayed throught my entire 2 months travelling. The views are stunning, the rooms face the mountains and you can watch the sunset from your bed or verandah! Getting in contact with the venue before arriving was extremely difficult but upon arrival checkin was easy and i was promptly shown my beautiful clean room! The shower pressure was awful but other than that no problems with ammenities. A clothes line was provided too with pegs for your swimmers and the pool area has pool side chairs where you can enjoy the sun AND see the ocean. Location wise there are many great restaurants in a walkable distance, i also easily walked to and from argostoli harbour within 15 minutes each way, however its very hilly. The only negative is the beaches right in front of the apartment. A few are difficult to reach (crocodile) and some were just cliffs. The beach with sun lounges was more dirt and rocks, there is no bathroom at the bar there and ants were crawling all over me. I recommend makris gialos beach which was a 30 minute walk but super worth it! Overall i am so happy i chose metaxatos apartments and i will definitely be back some day

We had a lovely studio with view and we enjoyed visiting a different beach every day. Excellent mattresses and pillows! The pool bar was great too! Easy walking distance to Argostoli for the evening and €5 taxi to return after dinner. Will definitely go back. Thank you Christina and Keti.

Happy place
From the moment we arrived everyone was so friendly and helpful. Just the lovliest atmoshere, always a happy place to be. Christina, Paul and Katie went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best we have ever had. We have come away with the warm fuzzies when we reflect on our yime there.😁

Stunning views from the pool area and balcony's. Comfy beds, hot shower! Kitchen area very small but tbh, we only used the bottle openers and glasses :-)

Cannot say enough good things about the lovely Metaxatos! Firstly - They are in a superb location (midway between Argostoli and Lassi) short stroll to both. Kalamia Bay is across the road. The welcome from Christina and Paul is fantastic too. We loved the pool and beautiful bar area,(try the superb cocktails!) the views are incredible (sunsets amazing) The studio we had was comfortable super clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Finally kudos to the two ladies that clean every morning. They work so hard and always happy and smiling! This place is a Gem

The hotel we stayed in is perfectly situated, with great access to the sea as well as shops and taverns, with beautiful views. The rooms are kept clean and the service is great. Paul and Christina are extremely friendly and helpful. The pool and its surroundings are also very clean and the atmosphere by the pool bar is amazing.

I can tell You this. I have been around, in many countries, but never I saw apartments to be so taken care of. The owner really pours his heart to make sure everything is perfect. The rooms are gorgeous, with a rustic feeling. The pool is amazing and the service is top notch. The owner is a true gentleman and always ready to help or explain how to get where. Great service makes all the difference. I can highly recommend this place. You will love it!!

Great hotel but dated. They can't keep up with the maintenance of the premises it seems. But we had a great time, pool with seaview, close to the beach. Walking distance to both Lassi and Argostoli.

Stayed here for a week beginning October. Location is great, near facilities but feels in the country. And central for touring around the whole island. Great views from the pool area and the apartments. We were ground floor, the first floor places must have fantastic views from their balconies. The apartments have everything needed for a good stay and the owners were incredibly helpful. The last day because our flight was in the evening, originally our room had guests moving in, but they rearranged them to another room and we were able to use ours until we left at 6.30. Amazing service! If ever we come back to Kefalonia will stay here again.

Metaxatos Apartments are beautifully run, spotlessly clean, great location, sea view from every apartment, fantastic pool where you can always get a bed even in the height of summer and all the staff friendly and helpful, special thanks for Christina, Paul and Katie who work tirelessly to make everyones stay as wonderful as possible.

Fantastic location, helpful and friendly staff! Our only niggle was the beds were a little hard and they only have single beds. Other than that everything was fantastic!

Very friendly owners and help full. If u need any info “out and about” they are brilliant. Nearest beach 5 min walk, shop 5 min walk. You can buy some simply food in pool bar ( pizza, toasts, salads). Restaurant opposite the hotel. Very friendly staff.

Comfortable accomodation close to Lassi beaches
Comfortable accomodation in a convenient location close to good beaches and the town of Argostoli. Also has an excellent restaurant across the road, which was a great bonus.

Very nice place. Room was clean and recently renovated, having all needed utilities from fridge to water boiler to cooking ware. Big swimming pool and nice hangout area in the front with sea view. Splendid value for money!

Personal ist echt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Apartment hat nicht mal Seife noch Schwamm um das Geschirr zu spülen.Es sollte den Gästen vor Ankunft gesagt werden dass man alles mitnehmen soll sogar Salz.

Joli théâtre de verdure au milieu d'un magnifique jardin. La vue est splendide et la piscine est un énorme plus. Prix raisonnables fin mai. Les appartements et terrasses sont spacieux. Seul bémol: l'équipement de la cuisine est assez minimaliste (il manque, notamment: éponge, torchon et/ou sopalin, produit vaisselle, sel, poivre).

Overall it was a great experience, staff and location was perfect. Friendly staff and listen to your needs and addressed concerns promptly. The only thing I would mention that need improvement is the beds.

Herzliche Unterkunft mit traumhaften Ausblick
Wir würden direkt super freundlich in Empfang genommen. Die Atmosphäre war familiär und liebevoll. Für dieses kleine Budget war die Unterkunft ein Traum. Zwar waren Flecken auf der Bettwäsche und den Handtüchern aber es wurde jeden Tag gründlich geputzt. Vor den Duscharmaturen hatte ich ein wenig Angst, da man kleine Stromschläge bekommen hat. Jedoch würde ich jedem die Appartment weiter empfehlen und würde auch wieder hinreisen.

Awesome lacation, friendly helpfull people
The location is awesome, between lassi and Argostoli. We rented a scooter and saw all the highlights of kefelonia. The staff is also the owner, a family business. They are really motivated to make your vacatian the best. They are very nice and helpfull. Definetely go to Myrtos beach, Argostolli at night, Petani Beach and Fteri beach. Also take the ferry to Luxouri. We also rented a boat in Fiskardo, which was awesome. Also enjoy a nice seaside dinner at Sto Psito, which is next matamatox.

Una sistemazione da dimenticare
L'arroganza e la sporcizia anglosassone uniti alla (non sempre) indolenza greca non fanno di questa struttura il fiore all'occhiello dell'isola di cefalonia. la stanza/studio che mi hanno assegnato (posto che è inserita in un contesto naturale e paesaggistico di rara bellezza) mi hanno distolto totalmente dagli aspetti positivi che questa struttura potenzialmente potrebbe avere. La sporcizia e e la scarsissima manutenzione vengono subito a galla. L'aria condizionata non funziona, e in una stanza che è esposta al sole dalle 6 di mattina alle 9 di sera direi che non è proprio il massimo. infatti ho dovuto comprare un ventilatore visto che il titolare non ha mostrato alcun segno di collaboratività per risolvere il problema. La tv dicono che c'è, ma in realtà non c'è (foto), il bagno credo sia più comodo e pulito quello di un carcere (foto), la biancheria è sporca (foto), lo stendino per i panni aveva solo due fili (foto). Insomma regà nel terzo millennio anche la più storta delle baracche non è ridotta così. Direi che expedia non fa una grande figura ad avere questa struttura tra le porprie offerte, e lo dico con cognizione di causa visto che da 6 anni prenoto semepre attraverso questo portale e mi sono trovato sempre bene. Ma questa struttura è totalmente da cassare, cancellare, eliminare. Non rende onore alla bellezza dell'isola perchè dà un'idea di sporcizia, sciatteria e trasandatezza che non è tipica del popolo greco che è molto ospitale e collaborativo. Giudizio pessimo.

Super Location, but much more...
Wonderfully peaceful location overlooking the sea, olive groves and fragrant meadows. Within a few minutes walk from the Lassi restaurants and shops. A five minute drive to the centre of Argostoli and the long sandy beach of Makris Gialos. We used the apts as a base to explore the island on this our first visit to Kefallinia and we would certainly stay here again. Christina made us really welcome and recommended some essential places to visit.

Basic apartments with great views
My partner and I stayed a week in mid-September 2016 in a family studio on the ground level. The room was a decent size and although basic had all we needed. The patio area was great with fabulous views over the sea where we used to watch the sunset in the evenings. There is a nice pool area with a bar for drinks and snacks (crisps and ice-creams) and the bar staff will order you in take-away meals if needed. All in all we thought the apartments gave pretty good value for money and the views out to sea are definately the star attraction.

Ho trascorso due settimane con mia moglie (siamo una coppia giovane) l appartamento è molto piccolo gli utensili da cucina sono scarsi e la pulizia non regna davvero sovrana! Il bagno avrebbe bisogno almeno di una rinfrescata alle pareti. ..Diciamo che se come noi non avete intenzione di cenare in casa ma al ristorante tutte le sere diventa un posto solo dove dormire e fare una doccia è fattibile

Great place !!!
Everything was great. Christina is very friendly and helpful as indeed the entire staff. Super bar and swimming pool. Apartment very clean including the kitchenette. Equipped with even a small oven and a baking dish. Daily housekeepers thoroughly cleaned the apartment.They doing a great job. The idea with a table and seats outside is very hit. Cool location. Close walk to Argostoli (the capital) and Lassi town full of restaurants and taverns. With a pure heart I recommend this place.

Appartamento comodo al centro e al mare
Ottima location, vista mozzafiato ideale per chi non ho troppe pretese, economico e funzionale. Il bar offre dei cocktail favolosi, e la vista è meravigliosa. Forse dovrebbe essere più curato nelle camere, ma come dicevo è l ideale per chi non ha tante pretese!
