Comfy beds and clean rooms. I would suggest asking for a room away from the main road - it is much quieter.

The Royal Anne Hotel
This was a very nice little boutique hotel at a great rate located just a few blocks from the waterfront. Many shops (Arc'teryx and Lulu Lemon for example) and restaurants within walking distance.
