“The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. “Our host was very welcoming. Showed us our room, which was perfect for our needs. Room 1 was chosen for us as it opened onto a garden /woodland area which our two terriers loved. We had a lovely one night stay, had a drink at Whitemoor pub, dinner was 'eating in' at the Aspey Fishbar opposite Tudor Lodge. Lodge was clean, warm, nicely furnished and a good size. Host was welcoming and friendly. Haven't had breakfast yet, but dont doubt itll be hot, tssty and plentiful. ”
