Hampton by Hilton Bath City
4/10 Poor
"The check in is the worse I’ve ever experienced and they also asked for a room deposit even though everything was paid for. The beds are small and uncomfortable (queen size where other hotels have king size as standard). There’s no room for hanging or storing clothing. No desk area for my partner to do her makeup etc. the windows don’t open for any fresh air to come into the room. The breakfast was disappointing as some things were overcooked and some were just as though they had been prepared overnight and just left keeping warm. Staff were helpful and at least got us a few more hangers but the bar to hang them was about a foot in length which is no good if like us you were staying for 5 nights and had quite a bit of clothing for two people. We definitely won’t be using Hampton by Hilton again. "

Apex City of Bath Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi is absolutely awful. It is however very close to everything. We walked everywhere "

The Z Hotel Bath
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a great location close to the main attractions and restaurants. I found the room clean and staff very welcoming, great for a short stay."

Moxy Bristol
10/10 Excellent
"Very welcoming staff, room was clean and bathroom had nice toiletries. Great location for shopping and city centre. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. "

Celtic Manor Resort
10/10 Excellent
"My Easter stay at the Celtic Manor was faultless. The staff were helpful, courteous and efficient. A heartfelt thanks to the member of staff who helped me with my bags and gave me a lift to the upper carpark. I am elderly and this gesture was really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a lovely swim in the pool and appreciated a stint in the sauna, which was thoroughly relaxing. The breakfast was brilliant, as always, including a cooked breakfast, choice of fruit, yoghourts, toast etc. I am a coeliac and this is catered for. Thank you, the Celtic Manor, for making mine and my family`s stay so enjoyable !"

The Bristol Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at The Bristol Hotel, we had a great welcome, staff were lovely and always willing to help.
Location of the Hotel is perfect, in the centre of the City and close to all amenities.
If we come again to Bristol, we will certainly stay there.
Rooms are clean and tidy, the main lounge is wonderful.

Bristol Grand Hotel By Sunday
2/10 Terrible
"Elevator was broken. Old broken down furniture. Black mold in the bathroom. All around horrible property."

Macdonald Bath Spa
4/10 Poor
"The room was not clean when we entered. There were dead bugs in the tub and some unknown substance near the sink.
The white towels had brown / red stains. We asked for a change of the towels and those also had brown / red stains.
Hotel is pretty old - paint is flaking off everywhere.
No slippers in the room (had to ask for it). No tooth brush / tooth paste.
Calls to conceirge were not answered.
In terms of staff, I expected them to move my bags into my room given I'd dropped off my bags with them prior to my check in and then went outside for lunch / to explore the city.
Spa wise - pretty well equipped with 2 saunas, 1 steam room, 1 salt room and 1 ice room. "

Delta Hotels by Marriott Bristol City Centre
8/10 Good
"Great location hotel. Friendly and helpful reception staff.
Rooms only cleaned every 3 days which meant we were always chasing for top ups of teabags/milk and toilet roll. Very hard beds.
Bar charges a “service charge” for pouring your drink and passing it to you - not table service - which we all found to be somewhat disagreeable .
Did not try restaurants. "
