Excellent service from the attentive and accommodating staff at all hours. Shared amenities like the pool area were beautiful but the room was a little dimly lit; brighter lighting options would have been nice. Located in a convenient yet quiet area very close to the main shopping/beach club district of Canggu with a few solid F&B options open until late.

Great stay, but could be improved.

Bloomfield is a small boutique villa / hotel in Umalas that's close to some great cafes and food options and not too far from the hustle and bustle of Bali. The room was spacious and comfortable, minus the soundproofing. While other guests are respectable and mindful with their voices, there was a lot of construction in the area that started early morning everyday of my stay. The power went out one morning as well and basically everything was out, including water until noon. It's a great stay if you don't care to sleep in often and don't mind the occasional morning yoga sessions that can be quiet loud if your room is next to the practice room.

Petit hôtel très agréable, personnel sympathique et d’une grande gentillesse, nous avions une chambre (nr 8) avec vue piscine et transats juste devant la chambre. On s’est sentis comme à la maison durant 3 semaines, car la vue piscine est vraiment le bon choix à faire. Quelques rizières visibles depuis l’hotel et joli jardin arboré. Il est nécessaire d’avoir un scooter pour se déplacer mais il y a plusieurs restaurants de qualité autour de l’hôtel à prix abordables.

The best start on Bali...

For my long term stay on Bali I started in Bloomfield in Umalas für 6 days. And this was the best decision ever. Lovely people, lovely environment, beautiful hotel room, great location... I highly recommend this hotel.

People are very friendly there but my stay was quite disappointing. First of all there was a noise in my room which came from a water pipe and kept me up all night. The towels were super old and had massive holes. The mattresses at the pool are quite well used and have stains, breakfast is ok but for eggs etc you need to pay extra. All in all I don't think it's worth the price they ask, value for money is not in balance.

Sehr huebsches und liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel. Das Hotel Team ist sehr hilfsbereit und um die Zufriedenheit der Gaeste bemueht. Es liegt ca. 6,5 km ausserhalb von Seminyak und grenzt direkt an Reisfelder an. Das Essen war sehr lecker.

The room was full of a million mozzies, the spray they supply did nothing, had to hide on the bed behind the mozzie net so we didnt get bitten. Some things need an update , the pool floaties are in need of updating. The bathroom wasnt the cleanest. On the bright side breakfast was delicious.
