“Great location and the room was really nice. We stayed in a heatwave and there was just a fan in the room and no aircon, so sleeping was a real problem. Wi-fi in the room wouldn't connect. Definitely go back when it's a bit cooler!”

“Lots of character, authentic, old inn (original part built circa 1690) set in beautiful countryside. Some parking on site at rear, but one evening we had to park on the roadside. (It is a quiet road so OK.) There is a nice seating area in a garden in front of the Inn. Nice ambiance overall. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were good. The double room we stayed in was sufficiently quiet and of an acceptable size. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area.”

“Full of character - friendly welcoming staff. Great comfy four poster bedroom. Lovely fresh pub food and a wonderful hearty breakfast. A lovely beer garden so peaceful in a picture perfect village.”

“The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.”

“Amazing place!! We will definitely miss it but would love to stay again when we return. The food was phenomenal, easily the best Thai food we had in England. The locals were welcoming and friendly making everything a 11/10 experience. ”
