"The staff was excellent. The bed was the most comfortable bed. I’ve had all week. The food was very very good and you took every effort to make our 36th wedding anniversary a memorable one. It was very enjoyable and I would come there again next time I’m in Ireland."

"Great hotel with great staff. Stayed at 5 hotels while in Ireland and this was the best. Not much to look at from the outside but very nice on the inside. Meals were very good and all staff were friendly and helpful. Loved this place!"

The Lodges at Kilkea Castle

"Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. We weren’t there to golf and that was just as well as the course was closed for maintenance. As a golfer the course did look like a premium course, and I’d love to go back for another stay and a round."
