"We had a disappointing stay at this hotel. Check-in was not smooth, and the first room we were assigned was unacceptable—dirty and had a strong odor similar to dog urine. We requested a room change, which was accommodated, but the second room was still not properly cleaned to an acceptable standard. At that point, we decided to make the best of the situation rather than continue moving rooms. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations for cleanliness or basic comfort. We will not be returning."

"The property is well maintained and staff are helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean but needs a little work on toilet as it was wobbly. The lighting inside could be brighter. It was early in the season so the trails around the camp were covered with growth and leaves so footing was a bit tricky. Also because it was early in the season the cafe and general store were not open. Overall great place to enjoy the outdoors."

"We stopped here on the way back from Myrtle Beach, because of the good reviews on hotels.com. We got three rooms, and we were all pretty tired. My room, the bedsheets were stained, and the comforter was stained. I should’ve contacted the other two rooms to inquire, but I was tired and just wanted to sleep. The next morning, I asked the other two parties, the second room had the same problem as ours. Stain sheets and stained comforters. The third room….. their sheets and comforters was fine, but the toilet needed to be flushed! Did you ever clean that room use it and not flush it? Was the room ever cleaned? We complained to the front desk the next morning and all he said was I’ll tell the manager…."

"For a business traveler or one or two night stay perfect?? Not any amenities which is ok. The staff is wonderful and work hard to keep everything up to date. Very clean and the breakfast was excellent!!!"
