"We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and were provided with lots of information about the motel and Kingman. We chose the 'Marilyn Monroe' room. The room was quaint, and gave an historic feel. We appreciate it is an old motel from the 1930's, however, the room and decor were tired, and in need of some TLC. Compared to other classic Route 66 motels we've stayed at, this didn't live up to our expectations. Too much Route 66 kitsch on the outside. Less is more. "
