Motel 6 Kingman, AZ - Route 66 West

"I booked a room that specifically said microwave and refrigerator in the title and in the room description. Upon arrival, my room did not have a microwave and I was told that they had taken the microwaves out of all of the guests rooms. I travel for an entire week and rely heavily on a microwave and fridge to store and prepare my food. The front desk associate did nothing to rectify the situation."

"Overall our stay was great. The hotel was cute and the staff was friendly. The ONLY complaint was that our AC didn’t work properly. It blew cool air, but it definitely was not cold in our room. We let them know when we checked out that our AC wasn’t working right and she said she’d let maintenance know- I’m hoping she followed through. If it wasn’t for the fact that we checked in late (10ish) and we left early (8:30) we would have requested another room. Overall, I’d stay here again."

"Avoid room 317. The window is over the entrance of the hotel and there are pigeon droppings EVERYWHERE and the air conditioning unit is right over those droppings. I cannot image that was very safe to breath. You could hear the birds every morning. The TV in that room would not stay connected to DirectTV. Maintenance came and looked at it but it wouldn't stay connected so we used our iPads on the WiFi to watch what we wanted. The front desk staff were nice enough and told us they couldn't move us because the hotel was full and offered us a free drink from their little shop. It was a nice effort on their part and we did appreciate that. The hotel needs A LOT of work. They are currently doing renovations but it is a very run-down hotel. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Outside of the bird droppings right next to the air conditioner and the TV issues, it was just an okay stay. I wouldn't stay there again, though."
