“Yes, this property is 220 years old, but it is magnificent. The living room is expansive and the bedroom is huge. And it is all decorated with care and appropriateness. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has a table for two, if you don’t want to spread out on the full dining table in the great room. We particularly liked the pillows. There were dozen on the bed, and four sofas! We can’t wait to return.”

“The main road is noisy until the traffic dies down later on in the evening. The metal framed windows, even when shut, let through a high volume of road traffic noise. It was a period of unusually high temperatures by day and night when we stayed and the room we stayed in was in the loft space and therefore really warm and so the windows had to be kept open most of the time. This is by no means a complaint merely a note for other people who stay in the loft apartment who may not be as comfortable...

“Lovely room, lucky to be upgraded to a deluxe room. Couldn’t fault it. Nespresso machine, nice toiletries , bath and shower, lounge area, two tvs, comfy bed, lovely towels, perfect! With the cooked breakfast the sourdough toast and the muffin was barely toasted but that is being picky. The rest of breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again. At check in the staff on reception were lovely as were breakfast staff. The left luggage facility was very handy. Pool and gym...
