Lovely view of sea from room and if not then only ten paces and at sea wall so you can hear it and feel near it. Not much going on in town but just very calm and quaint and authentic so not over touristy, which is perfect. Ideal base for exploring region."

"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. "Excellent stay in Balintore. Having stayed in the Balintore inn a number of times, this is a great addition to the area. Staff first class, rooms amazing. Sadly I didn’t get the chance to try the restaurant but will definately be back. The only minor comment which I hope the hotel fixes is the lights in the toilet as they are all on sensors and the timers are too sensitive, so found myself having a shower and brushing my teeth intermittently in the dark with the lights going on and off. I hope they fix, but this is a very small issue which can easily be addressed."
