“The bathroom had black mold in the shower and had a horrible odor. The restaurant was grossly understaffed. Customers were leaving for golf tee times without breakfast after waiting 45+ minutes. Had dinner at restaurant as well and it took 2.5 hours for an average 3 course dinner. Staff again was overwhelmed.”

“Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others”

“I hate writing neutral reviews (usually try to save it for the bad or the great!) but I wanted to share so folks can set expectations. First, the location and the staff were great. Right on beach and next to the bus stop I used to get all around the coast. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. I did feel, though, that the level of experience for the money was not equal. My room was in an annex building down a dim hallway and up two flights of stairs with no elevator. I cannot...
