Incredible Experience
Truly one of the best days of my life was at this hotel. The location and views are a dream and the buffet breakfast was one of the best meals I had in Sri Lanka. I spent the day at the pool, in the spa, drinking a mojito on the beach front, and enjoying the views. They helped me arrange a safari to Yala which was wonderful. A must stay on any trip to Sri Lanka! The only downside was the dirt road leading to the hotel is in really banged up condition so was a bit hard on the car that dropped me off, but I was told the hotel is on a national park land so it can't be paved. So not really their fault.

Great hotel and great location for safari
Great place and great location for Safari. Liked almost everything about it, only thing is that the room where the breakfast buffet is is not very cozy. But bring your food outside, then all is ok. Would also be very nice and convenient with a stacked mini bar, instead of an empty one, as there are no other shops near by. You can always order in room dining, but a mini bar with snacks, sodas etc, would be great.

Pleasantly surprised - Wonderful hotel
Pleasantly surprised to have this experience at a Hotel that is situated 10 minutes away from a Wildlife park. The hotel is in very good condition, large rooms with modern amenities and spacious washrooms (Loved the waterfall pipe). Food quality was amazing and we got all the usuals for a hearty breakfast. The beach is lovely, the pool is well maintained and the staff are immaculate. Gym and Spa are well maintained. Lots of activities for kids. The Turtle hatchery they've got on the beach was a definite plus to our experience. And all the wildlife, very safe, but so much to see.

Amazing hotel for wildlife and rela
Amazing hotel. Loved everything about it. Staff were super nice. Wildlife was great - we saw capuchin monkeys, wild pigs, elephans just on the hotel premises. Pool and private beach made it even more perfect. The only bad thing is was the very slow service in the restaurant during dinner time. Other than that the hotel is 10/10.

Excellent property to stay on during visit to Yala. Good location to head out for a safari day. Great pool. Easy access to a private beach. Decent breakfast buffet. They do need to work on fixing the road coming into the property, but it is not a deal breaker.

Clean hotel & friendly staff but price gouge
The whole family enjoyed the stay. Our kids loved the pool and access to the beach. Will definitely give 5 out of 5 stars on attentive staff, cleanliness, comfort. 4 out of 5 on dining. My biggest complaint was I tried to reserve a safari jeep through the hotel for the Yala safari tour and the hotel was going to charge more than USD 100 per adult for the jeep because we were non-Sri Lankan. This is unacceptable. I directly spoke with a local safari tour company and arranged a safari keep + tour guide for SLR 5000, which is equivalent to USD 25 for the whole family. It is unfortunate when a reputed hotel practices that type of price gouging behavior.

Best hotel in Sri Lanka
Incredible hotel. Sustainable, eco friendly, animals roam around the area of the hotel sometimes. Safari is incredible. Food and room quality are great. A must go!!

It is set in a wildlife park but still with beautiful resort facilities. One of the closest properties for the safari.

This place is amazing! The rooms look out on to the water and you can walk down to the sea. The staff and service was excellent. And the hotel has a strong commitment to being eco friendly. Wish we had stayed longer there.

My stay at the Yala Jetwing was very pleasant. The staff are warm and friendly and followed up with all our requests. We would highly recommend Yala Jetwing. The food at the restaurant was also very good.

Amazing property surrounded by Wildlife. The pool is huge and the beach is beautiful. The staff was very courteous and attentive, the room had all the amenities needed and a big balcony with a wonderful view. The room was also big very clean and the bed was so comfortable! One of the best place I ever stayed at, would love to be back in the near future.

The access road needs screeding -very bumpy & slow. The bathroom had an open roof over the shower which made it very hot at times Otherwise very well thought out re environmental impact especially given its Nationial Park location. Gorgeous communal areas and restaurants with lots of food choices.

No Lo recomiendo
La estancia ha resultado ser muy decepcionante. Esperas de este lugar un sitio idílico y romántico, sin embargo fue un cúmulo de despropósitos. La habitación estaba sucia, no nos dejaron hacer late check out a pesar de haberlo solicitado previamente y habiéndonos dado el ok. El lugar está repleto de perros por todas partes que te acompañan allá donde vas. Si tenéis previsto coger el ferry ida-vuelta el horario lo pondrán ellos y te obligarán a coger el que ellos quieras a pesar de que el horario no te venga bien.

Staff were all so friendly and amazing, makes the experience so much better! Rooms were lovely and spacious. Pool is great size and well maintained. Food was excellent!! We enjoyed everything we ate at the restaurants. The buffet was full of great options and all the food was really tasty. The restaurant staff were always checking that we were happy with everything and were happy to chat. Our final night saw an Elephant visit for a drink which just topped off our stay. Thank you!

Overpriced hotel
One of the higher quality hotels near to Yala National Park but very expensive and although it was very comfortable I felt that it was overpriced. Staff training needs to be improved eg bar staff did not appear to measure spirits accurately when 3 were ordered one was half the size of the other 2, this was corrected when pointed out but should never have happened in the first place. Food could also be improved buffet was inferior to other hotelsthat were cheaper that we have stayed at while in Sri Lanka. Overall I felt that this hotel was a touch of style over substance and that there was definitely room for improvement.

I didn’t like the service at all. The people at the check in area were extremely rude and not professional. They don’t greet guests, they stay at the phone or talking to their colleagues. I brought a third guest and I was clear on that, yet they made me feel like I am stealing something from them. Also, it says in the policy that extra charges for extra person around 17 USD, they first asked me to cancel my reservation and book again and when I refused, they asked me to pay 30 USD!!!!!! This is so diopponting! he smell of bathrooms were bad... the environment made me feel unsafe, the way to the beach was scary!! This is difeneteley a 3 star hotel for sure not a 4.7 hotel...

The meal plans calculated at the hotel on direct reservations is completely different to the way the rate is calculated when contract rates with online agents. It is a special rate given to online agents in order to generate more reservations to the hotel. The standard rate for breakfast 15$ Lunch 20$ Dinner 25$ is what we charge all guests who request additional meals upon arrival and 15$ for an extra bed per night. Please be assured that all your concerns have been taken very seriously. We have personally shared your feedback with the relevant departments for immediate evaluation and rectification. Guest satisfaction is our utmost priority and this sort of feedback is crucial to continuously improve our standards.
