Longer drive than I expected. Expedia said this was 19 miles from Kirkwood where it's 35+ and takes 50+ minutes because of the windy roads.

Go early to beat the rush. Early season skiing is limited, so plan ahead and get there around opening.

It was very crowded because of the Labor Day weekend. Lots of traffic on roads that were maxed out.
