I grew up in Knoxville. My family is from there and it’s where I was born. It’s not a bad place and most of the people are okay. The schools are decent. However, it’s a small town and old rural area. It’s not for me.

One of the best motels we have stayed in. Breakfast, which is important to us, was small but had all that we like, eggs, potatoes, sausage, fruit, juice, coffee, waffles. Staff is nice. There are no pet friendly hotels in Knoxville so we were very happy to find this pretty house for our stay when back for a family funeral. Though Knoxville Area Community Hospital might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Knoxville while you are here.
