“The lodge was very clean and charming. We felt at home right away. We were not missing anything that we needed. Communication was easy and quick. We would be happy to book there again. I suppose the only downside is that it is right off the highway, so cars and lorries are regularly passing by. This does take away from the peace of the lake on the other side of the highway. But this negative point is eclipsed by all the positive aspects. Highly recommended!”

“When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at.”

“We had a truly wonderful stay! Our hosts (attentive, informative and welcoming) have a beautifully decorated and well maintained property. Clean, comfortable, lovely, safe and with a breathtaking view of the water. The parking is close and convenient and the location is just 5 minutes walking distance away from Fort William shopping, restaurants and cafes. The location is also ideal for traveling to some incredible spots in the highlands. Parking is close and convenient. A great place to stay....

“What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...
