Die Zimmer sind wunderschön... Die Lage ist top ! Das Personal extrem gut geschult, zuvorkommend, freundlich und äusserst professionell ! Wir waren 2 Nächte da.. und können Diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen ! Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Knysna buchen wir wieder die Villa Afrikana. We loved our stay at this beautiful, boutique hotel! Our room had beautiful views, and was well equipped with all the luxuries including a small bottle of delicious sherry. The hosts and staff were wonderful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and there was also afternoon tea and happy hour in the main lounge. Why stay at boring hotels when you can stay at these unique special places. We will be back ! Thank you Ross and Bianca and the entire staff !

Honeymoon week at villa afrikana
The stay was exceptional in the sense that the hosts really care about your day. Everything was so clean and the breakfast was simply world class. We also loved the view of knysna everyday. Seriously the best view in town. We had our honeymoon there and we were treated with absolute TLC all the way.

Estrutura incrível e atendimento impecável
A Villa Afrikana foi, sem dúvida, uma surpresa indispensável em viagem à África do Sul e à famosa rota dos jardins. O ambiente e a estrutura do hotel são modernos e com uma decoração elegante. O atendimento de todos os funcionários foi extraordinário, mas com destaque especial à funcionária Blousy. Todos foram sempre muito atenciosos e preocupados com cada detalhe da nossa estadia em Knysna. Mais incrível ainda é a vista do hotel para a Knysna, o que torna a estadia no hotel e na cidade ainda mais surpreendentes.

Wow, fantastic view and superlative service
Lovely hotel with fantastic personalised service. Would suggest more hot meal options for breakfast. Also no lift in the hotel which could be an issue for some. However the staff was very helpful with the luggage. Would suggest an intercom or phone in the room to contact the reception.

A wonderful stay in Knysner
Excellent place to stay. We stayed in the Phantom Suite. The whole place runs like clockwork, is stylishly furnished and decorated with great attention to detail, lovely breakfasts, good WiFi and first class service. Highly recommended.

Excellent up-market guest suites with amazing views over Knysna. Modern design throughout with a very comfortable outdoor seating / pool area. Great service and really enjoyed the amazing breakfast served outside by the pool. Gave us lots of tips for local restaurants (they arrange the booking and taxi transportation), as well as route ideas to our next stop. Only stayed one night, but would have liked to have stayed longer (fell in love with Knysna and all it‘s life). Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the entire place was spotless. Rooms were great, as was the breakfast which the staff set up in your room every morning - a real treat. My only small criticism was that the service was a little intense at points - often two or three people hovering next to you in any communal area was a little awkward and overwhelming.

Incredible stay at Villa Afrikana. The views over Knysna lagoon were incredible, matched only by the attention to detail of the hotel and service by the friendly staff. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a luxury stop on the garden route

Dit is echt een van de beste services in deze prachtige villa die we ooit meegemaakt hebben. Ongelooflijk hoe attent het personeel is en hoe ze alles in de gaten houden. Prachtige villa met geweldig uitzicht en super goed ontbijt. Sfeervol gedecoreerd met prachtige spullen uit eigen land. Zeker een aanrader en dikke 10!waard!

Truly Amazing
Absolutely stunning..everything was 5*standard..food, service ,cleanliness, sweet treats/flowers left every night when you returned to your room..WiFi was excellent...complimentary tea ,coffee ,water, there was also a bottle of wine on our arrival. Great selection of breakfast items cooked to order...couldn,t ask for anything more..cars are secure behind locked gates..

We stayed at the Villa Africana on May 5th, 2018 and everything was perfect!! The hotel staff was incredibly helpful, the room had gorgeous views and the breakfast was cooked just to our order. Could not recommend this hotel more!

Best spot to enjoy the Garden Route from
The view is stunning, but then Knysna from any angle is beautiful. What makes Villa Afrikana stand out is the service and the whole ambience of the place. They know how to make you feel comfortable.

Perfect stay..we only wish we stayed longer
It was an unbelievable stay! Very friendly owner and extremely pleasant team. They all treated us like the royal family and made every wish come true. The room was very clean! probably you can even eat from the floor. The interior design is beautiful and the view is stunning. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. Fantastic breakfast, room service and original Italian espresso and cappuccino made by the owner!

Villa in the name is deserved!
This stay was great and memorable! Service was exceptional, truly a gem. The only Con is that the light in the room is very bright in the morning due to the kind of shades and the sunny location, so expect to wake up early.

Amazing hotel
Amazing hotel, the hotel staff where great. The treating with tea and strawberries was amazing. The owners where very friendly and helpful, giving tips on where to go for lunch and what to see not only in knysna itself but plettenberg bay and tsitsikamma as well. If I'm ever back in knysna, I will definitely stay here again

MUST VISIT
If you're in Knsyna you MUST stay here. If you're not coming to Knysna, you should make a trip here and stay here. We absolutely loved this place - we were singing praises about this place the minute we entered when we saw the smiles and attentive staff. The owners did a fantastic job with the place and its honestly one of my favorite hotels. I can't wait to come back again in the future!
