I absolutely loved my stay at Kobe Plaza Hotel and would happily book it again on my next visit. The room was surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards, very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with an efficient layout that made it feel even larger. The bed was comfortable and I especially appreciated the in-room humidifier and individually adjustable air conditioning, which made a huge difference during the hot and humid weather. The room was also very quiet despite being in such a central area. The hotel offers a wonderful selection of amenities, including complimentary toiletries and welcome drinks, which were a lovely touch after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of both Japanese and Western options, and everything was fresh and delicious. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It is conveniently located near both JR Motomachi Station and the Sannomiya area, making it easy to explore Kobe and take day trips. There are countless restaurants, cafés, shops and convenience stores nearby. Kobe Chinatown, local markets, shopping arcades, and the beautiful harbor waterfront are all within walking distance. Although the surrounding area can get busy during rush hour, the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet throughout my stay. It was the perfect combination of convenience and comfort. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

Beautiful property inside and literally in front of the train station. The room was really nice and i loved the TV actually had streaming options that you could chromecast from your phone so that was a plus (most hotels i stayed at only had TV which was limited). There is also a really great shopping street behind the hotel which was really nice. I would def stay here again when i retuen.

Great facility and vicinity

I'd probably come back to this hotel in the future if I decide to stay in Kobe City. My room offered spacious conditions with nice couch and separated bathtub from toilet because I really dislike Unit Bath in general. Cleaned bath tub in Japanese fashion, and the shower head is so up to date style that I personally enjoyed taking. This facility also offers lounge refreshments at 3rd floor and coin laundry at top floor (make sure you have 4-5 100 yen coins that do both washing and drying in single machine; no need of bringing personal washing detergents). Overall, I was super satisfied during my stay.

This will always be my favorite place to stay in Kobe! It is very close to one of my favorite places (Ring Soul, a pro wrestling bar), it is very close to Motomachi station, not too far from Sannomiya station, and it's close to many places to shop and eat! During my last stay, the shower and bath facility I had was simply wonderful, absolute luxury! The staff are always friendly and helpful. I don't want to stay anywhere else!

It was very close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. China town and Motomachi shopping street are less than 5 minutes away. Check in was quick and checkout is done at a kiosk so no waiting. Room was small but met our needs. The beds are very hard. Took a couple nights to somewhat get used to it. We asked for a second pillow each which they delivered right away. All in all a good place to stay.

Upon entering the hotel room it was unbearably hot. There were no instructions on how to start the air conditioning or how to even or even how to make a phone call to reception to ask for help. I was finally able to start the air conditioning off the fiddling with an unmarked panel on the wall which was in Japanese but then I figured out how to put it in English eventually. The light above the coat area was impossible to turn off so I had to sleep with it on for the entire night. Other than that it was a quality room with very pleasant and modern interior design. Breakfast was quite simple, they gave me two choices for a western or Japanese breakfast and was approached by friendly happy and pleasant personnel shortly after entering the restaurant

It's very close to Motomachi station, walking distance from Meriken park, and there is a wonderful pro wrestling bar a very short walk from here as well! It was perfect for everything I needed. I will stay here again!

It is the perfect location, across from JR train station.. the rooms are very new and the staff although don’t speak English are well equipped to serve foreigners.
