This property was perfect! Staff was helpful and friendly. they have an observation tower where we were able to get the BEST view of Mt. Fuji. The onsen was perfect and not over crowded at all! We loved it so much that we canceled another reservation we had and stayed a 2nd night here.

The hot spring bath was great and there is an observation tower that provides an excellent view of Mt Fuji if the clouds don't cover it , which can change quickly from clear to covered.

Everything is very nice with the stay! We love the hotel, its history, the location, and the excellent breakfast! The only thing we weren't sure about was that the cleaning service took all the towels and only gave us one new towel, which isn't enough for us to use. Maybe we should go ask the front desk, but we found out too late. Other than that, the stay was great!

Great Japanese style room. I liked sleeping on futons on the floor Hot bath with views of Mt Fuji was epic. We had 2 fully clear days Hotel is a bit dated but very clean and wonderful staff Rented e-bikes nearby and lots of good food close by also

Lovely old fashioned Japanese Hotel. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake with Mount Fuji off to the side. Breakfast is worth it do note it is Japanese breakfast - we loved it. Rooms are large for Japan & have everything you need. My Husband enjoyed the onsen which has lovely views and area to sit & relax afterwards. Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Kawaguichiko. Thanks to all the wonderful staff. We used shuttle for return to station but as we arrived early we got a taxi to Hotel which cost 800yen for 3 of us

Overall the stay was good. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is not heated except for your room and the breakfast area. If you like the whole hotel to be temperature controlled then I would choose a different place.
