"My stay was amazing! Although this was not my first time here, it was by far the best. I usually book this hotel when I am in DC, and this visit truly stood out. I had a late check in because I was in town for an art event, so I did not connect with the staff until the next evening. Manager John was warm and engaging, and it is clear his restaurant team respects him. There was a callout that night, and before he could even look for coverage, another staff member stepped in. The evening moved smoothly. Dinner was delicious. I had salmon, rice pilaf, and green beans. The butter sauce brought everything together perfectly without overpowering the dish. I slept great that night. At checkout, Lu and Jamaal were welcoming and genuinely interested in what I had going on beyond my stay. That meant a lot and made me feel seen. My room was cozy and warm with a balcony and a perfectly sized bed. The linens were clean, the room was spotless, the heat worked well, and it felt very private. I have requested this same room for future visits. All of my stays have been great, but this one was truly superb. Even during construction, the experience exceeded my expectations. Thank you."

"Clean room but sadly not enough blankets even when we asked staff they said no air conditioning is abit cold even when u put the heater staff did not greet me as much which sorta made me feel abit well just weird since we are staying here and not a hello feels weird but other than that everything is good. "Staff was very calm and courteous about me needing to leave my bag at the front desk a few times. Also friendly staff at the breakfast buffet. I reserved a king bed room and got a room with two doubles with a handicapped shower that didn’t quite stream out far enough to take a shower. Also, the room was very clean but the remote was visibly disgusting. "
