"The staff here is incredibly kind and conscientious. This property is a hidden gem. Such a value - perfect amenities on a lovely tranquil estate like setting. A stones throw from the services of a full service hotel. I liked it so much I changed my reservations to stay again when I returned to Krakow. Wonderful! "

"Staff was very nice and helpful but the room was dirty didn’t look like it had been cleaned for a while. The room was a lot smaller than what the pictures showed but was enough"

"The Hostel is great for the price.
The cleaning lady is working nonstop, and the results are visible. Receptionists are kind and helpful. The location is excellent! About a 10-minute walk from the castle.
The negatives are that there are only 4 bathrooms for everybody, with 3 showers. On weekends, when there are more people, it can get busy. Moreover, during peak shower usage, if you are the last one, the warm water may have run out.
I stayed for two weeks, and I would go back. I paid about 50...

"This is a lovely hotel in the heart of the Kazimierz district very close to restaurants and pubs and also historical visits to synagogues and museums- walking possible to all city centre places and excellent trams.
Hotel is very comfortable with good meals and very friendly helpful staff- only good things to say!"

"We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast at the Balthazar Design Hotel… what a great stay we had..
Location of Hotel is fantastic for making it your base in Krakow, The Castle is literally next door and the main square a 10 minute stroll away.
We arrived later than planned due to delay with travel arrangements and arranged breakfast for the next morning to be available on a take away basis as we had a 6am pick up for a tour booked the next morning, it was no issue and was ready and waiting for us a reception.
The hotel was definitely up there in terms of quality, lovely rooms with ‘quirky’ but beautiful decor, lovely bathroom and quality Milton Brown bathroom essentials. Super comfortable beds, room safe and nice touch of a welcome drink on arrival in the room.
Special shout out to ‘Asia’ who hosted breakfast in the Fiorentina restaurant and the service she provided was excellent, went out of her way to ensure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was table service and multiple combinable options from omelettes, pancakes, cereals, choice of breads and continental meats and cheeses and all delightfully presented and cooked to order.
After a smooth check out, the hotel assisted us with a tour of Krakow by golf buggy , which wanted to do before our evening flight home. Picked up from the hotel and arranged in 10mins!.
Thank you Balthazar Hotel , Krakow a memorable stay in beautiful Krakow that will be hard to beat.

"Room was big enough for what needed it for. It was really central and couldn’t be closer to the square if we tried. Really nice place architecture wise. I’d definitely go back. Only thing that drops a star is the shower curtain as awful, it was broken so it wouldn’t stay in holder and as soon as you increased the pressure it just went everywhere. So you had to hold it with one hand while showering. The staff were really nice and really helpful too. As I say, I’d definitely go back. "

"Thank you for a great stay, nice comfy beds, plenty of pillows, pillow menu and worth the paying the extra for a larger room. Service was good, staff were super friendly. The location was ideal for ourselves, about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre where the restaurants/bars were located. "
