Being a 5 star hotel, check in service was bad. Arrived at hotel around 2:30 pm, room not ready. Told us to wait and called my mobile when ready.
At 3:30pm, we received no call and went to check in counter to enquire room status. The one who handled our request took our message and then disappeared, He pretended to work on other things.
The other guy then handled us still saying room not available. Asked to change room as we needed to get change and go out. We were told to have one with connecting door (still just a king sze bed room).
When we entered the room, it was smaller than expected. Our booking is 40sq m or 430 sq ft room with king sized bed. Our estimation based on the tiles was around 300 sq ft.
Hotel said all these rooms were 40sq m. Obviously it is cheating.
Lift service was also slow.
Far below our expectation for JE Marriott.
