This hotel is amazing, yes they have smaller rooms but it's more than sufficient for solo travelers and for couples. The rooms spotless and the staff are all amazing. Shout out to Saee the manager who su literally the best. He made my stay for sure and answered any questions and also gave a great deal to stay one more night. He deserves a raise and a promotion because he is truly amazing! Breakfast is great there too so definitely pay and try it!
Super value for money. Location is its best trait. Room is on a smaller end but it is very efficiently designed, all the amenities you need, and comfortable. Breakfast also has a decent spread. Lots of places to hang around in the lobby.
As a whole it’s a nice place to stay with common areas to sit in, unfortunately first impressions count - I was charged tourist tax that I had already paid via travel booking site - this was released in the end, but the fact I had to call travel site to call the hotel to confirm was a pain - especially after travelling on planes all day. Room was very spacious and nice but the separate toilet and shower room had a smell to it - like stale water, needed to be vented more. Breakfast was ok.
Nice, Clean, Comfortable Bed, Nice Staff, but for me, something was missing and I cannot seem to put my finger on it!!!!! Also, lovely Pool/Bar/Restaurant area!!!!

Fantastic hotel, right in the middle of China Town, perfect location. Hotel is beautifully presented, lovely and clean, the staff are all really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault it. We are returning next year for a wedding, we are going to recommend it to our friends and family!
In consideration of the cost, everything thing was excellent, except that at check in, we were told there is no room with queen size bed that we have booked, but only rooms with bunk beds are available. We were also told it is Expedia’s fault to accept the booking…. Really? Well, when insisted, we were given a room with queen bed after waiting some time, but why does it happen in that way? Anyway, except this, all was good.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Every one that I interacted was respectful, helpful, and smiling. Great place! Everything was impecable and clean. I did laundry (you have to pay, they include the soap which is great) I would definitely recommend this place
Moxy was a great surprise. Definitely HIGHLY recommended if you want to be near the heart of KL and all the great shopping. It’s 5 mins walk from the famous Petaling Street in Chinatown. The staff is first rates. It’s a fantastic (3-4 star) hotel in an unseemly place. They have everything you need if you just want to stay in the property.
TV had a couple of local free to air stations of no interest to me and a promo loop, too much trouble to access more options: need to setup personal phone with app, connect phone to unsecured hotel wifi etc.
Friendly staff at reception, free welcome (soft) drink at bar. Room quirky design, large shower and toilet in seperate spaces, I found bed large but mattress too hard. Tea/coffee in room. Breakfast good. 24h reception. Location 200m walk from a metro, everyone else uses the Grab app, it avoids stepping around beggers and homeless or trying to cross the road and not get run over by some person running a red light!
My stay at Moxy Hotel in KL, was absolutely amazing.
The vibe is fun, modern, and welcoming, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Every single person was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making my stay special.
The service was outstanding from start to finish, but I want to give special recognition to Manager Syed. His professionalism, kindness, and personal attention went above and beyond. He truly leads by example and made me feel valued as a guest.
This hotel is a perfect reflection of what hospitality should be; warm, efficient, and heartfelt. Huge thanks to Syed and the entire Moxy team for such a memorable stay. I’ll definitely be back! 300% recommended! ❤️
Unique rooms with a good view. The decor is very modern, and our room had a comfortable sling chair and a bean bag chair in addition to the bed. Everything was clean and worked well. Breakfast is pretty good, buffet-style. The rooftop pool is a nice touch, although later at night the music was loud and there was a strong smell of grilling meat. If you're looking for a fun spot with lots of young people and a couple of good places to hang out, this is a great choice.
