"Amazingly beautiful place!! Lots of love & thought went into the property-from the access to the room, details in the room and the landscaping on the property!! First time to the area & so glad we picked this place! It’s a perfect landing spot to spent a day in Nelson and area OR head the other direction to the hot springs & quaint town of Kalso! And the ferry to experience the other side of the lake is right there in Balfour! Couldn’t have been better!"

"They accepted a booking clearly marked pet friendly and then we got suggested on arrival to leave pet in the vehicle. It’s not that nice, I’ve stayed their before without a pet and the sheer audacity of staff to even make a suggestion like it is ridiculous. Also; refund refused even though they accepted the booking. Terrible hotel, keep driving to anywhere else."
