"We were initially a little disappointed by the location of the hotel - which is on a main road and about ten minutes walk from the beach. There were other cheaper hotels closer to the beach which we hadn't found on the internet (but most of them didn't serve alcohol) - indeed we suspect we paid about double what we would have paid if we had booked locally for this hotel. However the hotel staff were great and we ended up having a really enjoyable few days - staff were very friendly and helpful....

Sunrise with a low tide could create some very neat pictures. I was too late to take advantage of getting closer to the people out gathering the different types of seafood left stranded by the low water.

This beach has the whitest sand and bluest waters I��’ve ever seen!

On Sundays it’s ridiculously busy with locals so prepare to feel like a zoo animal as people stare, wave and take photos of you.

You have to pay 5000 rupiah to park your scooter (maybe just a tourists fee…).

There are lots of bracelet kids and sarong/t-shirt sellers so get your “no thanks” face ready. The beach really is beautiful though.

We found the staff so welcoming and helpful, they helped us to hire a scooter and book day trips with ease. The Spa is lovely too with many different treatments available. We would highly recommend Lina Boutique villas to anyone and hope to return ourselves in the future. "
