We loved our stay at the ALA Hotel Kyoto, the location was awesome and our room was a good size. We loved the onsen facilities and the inclusion of both an indoor and outdoor hot spring was super nice. The sauna and cold plunge were also great! The bathrooms were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable! Great proximity to Kyoto station too!

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Easy access to the train station and public transit . The staff are exceptional and the hotel is clean and well appointed. The only disappointment were the laundry facilities, hold use an upgrade. Would recommend this hotel.

ALA HOTEL KYOTO was an excellent place to stay during our visit to Kyoto. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained, with comfortable rooms that provided everything we needed after long days of exploring the city. The location was a major highlight, offering convenient access to Kyoto Station and making it easy to get around the city and beyond. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The hotel facilities were impressive, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxing despite being in such a convenient central location. LOVED this hotel and stayed for 5 nights. Would definitely stay here again. Easy walk from the station, especially when traveling with luggage. The location was very convenient with 7-11 across the road and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was so comfortable. Beds and bedding were also very comfortable and made for many good nights of sleep. Complimentary water. Modern and spotlessly clean bathroom and toilet. We had a view out to Kyoto tower. Lots of usb ports was very useful. Staff were helpful and we could store our luggage at the hotel until check in. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything is good. Staff are nice, property is new ish and created a zen kind of vibe. We picked the twin room that isn’t the smallest size and it faces the main road, which the glass window is not thick enough and we can hear the road noise and cars revs.

The hotel is a short walk from the Kyoto station. The property itself is elegant! Our room was spacious and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The window didn't have much of a view considering the hotel is in the city, but there was a small rock garden just outside that made up for it. The buffet breakfast offered both Western and traditional Japanese fare and was delicious. It was worth the extra cost. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto.
