It was a beautiful experience and we were treated very well from the time we arrived all the way through check out. I highly recommend it!

While the property was very unique and large, it was quite dirty. There was dust on everything, used Bobby pins on several countertops, and hair on top of all the rocks by the bed.

Amazing Japanese cottage

Amazing Japanese cottage which was really well furnished and the hot bath was really good! The complementary mini bar was a nice surpise. A must for anyone wanting a traditional Japanese stay. The Breakfast was also a great experience. A couple of suggestions for improvements; - Moscetos were around the outside bath and a few went inside so a couple of mosceto plugs would be good. - The building did creak alot at night and woke me up a few times - We couldnt get any hot water at the bathroom taps or kitchen taps

The house is really hard to find, but inside of the house is amazing! Newly renovated, outdoor bath, complimentary wine...... It is an ideal place to experience Kyoto.
