"A quaint hotel in a small village. We had 2 of the rooms and only another couple were there. Marcos the person managing the hotel was charming and extra helpful. The hotel smelled wonderful. They called us early in the day to make sure we knew they closed for dinner at 9. We arrived at 845 and were able to have a beautiful dinner there. The next morning breakfast was excellent as well. Marcos es un encanto! "

"A great place to stay if you are visiting the wineries in La Rioja. Berta and her husband were wonderful and the room was very comfortable and clean. We initially stayed 2 nights and when we decided to change our plans and stay one more night, they were very nice and accommodating. The town is adorable with a big castle and cathedral in the middle of town. There is only one restaurant that gets very lively on the weekend with all the locals. Only 15 minutes from Haro which had more restaurants...

"This was a great place to stay on our recent trip to the Basque country and Rioja; in a small village in the rolling hills before the mountains which is also on the Camino trail. Rosario is an excellent host with really good advice on places to visit, where to dine, Bodegas etc. She recommended we went to Escaray for the evening which was a lovely detour up into the nearby mountain range."

"I am very surprised with the rating of this establishment. We had trouble finding it as it looks nothing like the main picture on hotel.com which more like the town hall than the hotel. We arrived at 7.30 only to be told the kitchen closed at 8.00. This is very unusual as most Spanish restaurants only open about 8. I booked a double room with additional single bed and we were given smallish room containing two singles. In the restaurant, we were given a choice of pork chicken or hamburger...
