"Beautiful and elegant hotel that is also a historic site. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially with arranging taxi rides for us. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast buffet was very good. We also loved the seafood restaurant, as all of the dishes were delicious and the fish was very fresh."

"On site parking is always a plus, even if difficult to navigate into. Breakfast had many options. The reception staff were very helpful with q good city map and recommendations. The only negative was, our room had an odd odor when entering that quickly dissipated."

"Rooftop did not have enough space for guests on our arrival night. They booked a wedding the next night so we couldn’t even enjoy the views. The gym was small. No ventilation and AC was not working. It’s on an upper floor so it gets warm late morning and when others are using it. There were 3 of us in the gym and that was already uncomfortably tight. We had to to step around each other to get weights."

"The hotel is stunning! Walking up the spiral staircase was a dream and I hardly took the elevator. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and very pretty. Overall an excellent stay, though I did see what other reviews mentioned which was that the property could use some maintenence. Little light flickers, a tap that sometimes drips, etc. But the charm of the building is more than enough to make up for that."
