“The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

“We loved this beautiful guesthouse and our gracious, welcoming hosts. Nelly’s jams and Franck’s yogurt were a delight at breakfast. If you are staying in Sarlat, try to stay here. It is a bit removed from the medieval city, though only a few minutes by car, or an easy walk. We really appreciated the peace and quiet. ”

“Fantastic countryside hotel with a very friendly owner. Breakfast was outstanding with homemade products, rooms were nice and clean. Good beds. Easy parking. And a very good French-Mexican restaurant nearby. I absolutely recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you for having us as your guests.”

“L’endroit est magnifique: boiseries, décor, meubles, tant dans les chambres que dans les espaces communs. Tout est propre et bien entretenu. Le personnel est formidable, notamment dans la salle à manger, où l’on nous a aménagé un impressionnant dîner avec accord mets-vins. C’est à regret que nous ne pouvions pas prolonger notre séjour!”
