An excellent place to stay in the La Jolla area...beautiful grounds, like a jungle oasis in the middle of the town. Great pool & hot tub, gym, very nice rooms and excellent little lobby bar/dining room. Walking distance to shopping next door so you can park the car and forget it. The pool and spa were amazing. The rooms were refreshed. Lighting and bar fridge very convenient. Even plenty of outlets for electronic charging. Someone had some great insight here. The room was clean and it was up-to-date. It’s close to UCSD and close to food options. But every morning between 5:30 AM and 6 AM, there was very loud beeping of trucks backing up, then it sounded like trucks emptying dumpsters. We faced the parking lot so if you have one of the rooms that faces the pool it may not be as much of an issue.
