"This hotel is excellent and has a fantastic location. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, but I do have to mention one issue to keep my review fair.
The hotel does not offer valet parking, but there is a convenient public parking garage nearby, which worked well for us.
The only real problem occurred with housekeeping. We were out all day and returned in the evening to find that our room had not been cleaned. I understand that staffing shortages or unexpected issues can happen, but at this price point I don’t think guests should experience this. After we called the front desk, they apologized and eventually cleaned the room around 6:30 p.m.
To their credit, the hotel tried to make things right by leaving us a bottle of wine and some thoughtful gifts, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. Still, this is something that should not happen at a hotel in this category.
Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because everything else about our stay was excellent. However, I believe in writing honest and balanced reviews, and while our experience was very good overall, it wasn’t perfect."
