“The rooms are very close to the hotel beach bar/club and they play music very loud, until 4am on our first night (last night of carnival) and 1am on other nights. It starts again at 10am in the morning so if you’d like to join the club 18-30 experience drinking around the pool while listening to thudding bass all day then this might be the place for you. “The location is hard to beat, but no restaurants near only cook yourself so this means going to the grocery store in pedasi. This is kind of a nightmare when you are a foreigner. The wifi is super slow there is no cable. That is quite annoying, the help at the properties are extremely nice and try to be helpful, i can not recommend ataying here.”

“The Villa Marina Hotel is an older property with only nine rooms. Overall the property is nice and well maintained. With the price they can’t invest a great amount in the infrastructure and stay in business. The grass area would benefit from expansion, this would reduce mud; between mud and black sand the room and patio get a bit dirty. Also a stone or brick base near the outside shower would be good.
