좋아요.
처음엔 오래된 건물/시설로 조금 실망했었지만, 가격대비 아침식사도 격식이 느껴지고, 고풍스러운 맛이 있음. 가족이 운영하는 부티크 호텔로 친절하고 정이 느껴짐. 위치도 좋고, 라파즈 수준에서는 가격대비 매우 좋고 편안함.

Walking in I was surprised it was not slicker and could use a more recent renovation, (it was originally the Panama Embassy, years ago.) But we grew to be very fond of this hotel and will continue to go back. It has enormous rooms with enormous windows. It is now surrounded by skyscrapers but is a smaller mansion. The staff is wonderful as is the rear glass enclosed terrace. I loved the antique furniture pieces and the small size: 8 roooms. Mainly though it is a wonderful central location!! Near everything.

Period property in walking distance to teleférico
My room was enormous, and the bed could have fit 4 people in it! The room had the lovely high ceilings that come with a period property, and the furniture was also antique, which I also loved. It did mean that the room was a little colder (I’m here mid winter) but there was a heater and loads of extra blankets for the bed. A hairdryer was available at Reception if you asked. Breakfast was nice and plentiful (eggs, fruit, yoghurt and bread) and they made me up a little takeaway breakfast box for the following morning when my bus was earlier than the breakfast hours. Staff were informative and also helped me arrange taxies and onward transportation.

Beautiful historic building. Wood, leather, classic old style wooden windows and doors. High ceilings, classic furniture. Hot shower with lots of water! Helpful staff. A nice step back in time.

This place should be full every night ! Hotel is a beautiful old colonial building with massive rooms and bathrooms (No 1 has a roll top bath!). Hosts couldn’t be more helpful and perfect location. Excellent 2 night stay.

Colonial atmosphere in the heart of La Paz
Stylish hotel (if you like old-school wooden quirky trims and furniture). The interior stands as it was left many years ago. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Very large rooms and good lounge areas. Will soon need a bit of refurbishment to stay competitive. Very good and quiet location for downtown La Paz.

Relaxing
We enjoyed a spacious bedroom, and a bath for relaxing. The guest sitting room and garden where very welcome given we were house bound due to political unrest in La Paz. The hotel is well located and very quiet.

El personal del hotel tenia siempre oido a nuestras necesidades y ofrece soluciones concretos, relevantes y dispuesto a dar consejos en los tours. Excelente desayuno. Habitaciones espaciosas, comfortables y el hotel completo está amueblado estilo colonial. Pero el hotel necesita mantenimiento en diferentes aspectos.

Loved it!
Fabulous boutique hotel, close to the blue cable car line and easily accessed from the main streets. The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh orange juice, bread, eggs and fruit. I would stay here again!

アンティーク、でも朝食はありがたい。
立地はお高いホテル:Europaのお隣、すぐ近くには日本料理のけんちゃんがあります。ラパスに寄り、日本料理食べて一息つくには良いかも。アンティークとも言えますが、老朽化しており、セキュリティと快適さを最優先する場合は厳しいかも知れませんが、シングルベッド二つの部屋で62ドル位の割には丁寧に準備してくださる朝食はありがたく、滞在費をやたらとかけたくないかたにはオススメします。コンセントはさしても勝手に浮いてきてしまうし、シャワーの出もあまりよくはないです。 民芸品などを見て回りたいときは、中心地に宿泊した方が便利です。

Our host and hotel manager was extremely accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was served in a beautiful area and service was excellent. The hotel requires a little care and some repairs to minor things like door knobs and furniture.

Fab place to stay
Unfortunately we weren't here for long so couldn't make use of all the facilities, but the room was great, the building beautiful and the hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Living the old times
This is a nice hotel. Service is great. People is friendly, kind and ready to answer any guest's demand. The problem is the maintenance of such old house, and this is responsibility of the owner. With not a big investment in restoration, mainly of the water and sanitation system, this could be an interesting concept of living in the old style. The BEST of the hotel is the people serving. They are the image of service, kindness and sacrifice for the guests.

Australian middle-aged adventurer.
The hotel is well located. The room was large and had a colonial feel. The staff were excellent in their care. The bed was huge and comfortable. The only the poor hot water pressure forvthe shower bath. This made having a shower difficult.

Flott for litt avslapning i La Paz
Veldig fornøyd med vårt opphold. Rommene var rene, det var varmtvann med trykk i dusjen - såpe, shampo og nok dopapir. Betjeningen var vennlige og serviceinnstilte. Vi fikk tilogmed bytte til større rom med dobbeltseng uten ekstra kostnad.

I chose this hotel assuming a nice courtyard and colonial experience. The family room faces the road and has huge windows with off-white curtains. Too much of street light comes in. The room has very minimal old style furniture and storage that could not be of much help. The sofa was dusty and fabric looked old and signs of fungus/worn-out look. The staff were very helpful in arranging transportation and also helped adjust the bookings which I had to change in the last minute. Close the El Prado and hence many shops and restaurants nearby. Close to blue line cable car stop and hence easy to move around. Very close to Don Bosco school and hence noisy during school hours.

El hotel está ubicado en la zona Miraflores, caminando un poco se puede encontrar un centro comercial, restaurantes, etc. El hotel es agreablemente decorado, con pinturas y detalles. El desayuno se toma en la terraza; me pareció bastante básico (me hubiera gustado que tuvieran frutas). La terraza es bonita y el pequeño conejillo de la India es lo máximo. Denle tomates! Servicio de té, aguas calientes de cortesía. El gim es muy pequeño y básico; no lo use. Lo recomiendo como base para explorar la cuidad.

O hotel é de charme, mas a localização é de muito trânsito e não tem como parar para descer as malas, está muito mal sinalizada a fachada do hotel. O café da manhã não estava pronto no horário programado.

Great stay!
We've had a great time at El Consulado. If you are looking for a quiet place with spacious rooms and close to city centre, then it's a perfect fit. It's a bit of a shame that restaurant/cafe is no longer in the place but other than that everything was great. We loved the property and our room. It stayed warm even on cold nights amd it was lovely to have a breakfast in the garden. On the last day we were leaving early and we were offered takeaway breakfast which was a very nice gesture. If back in La Paz we will definitely stay again.

Buena ubicación buen trato
Muy bonito y el jardín trasero donde te ofrecen el desayuno le da un ambiente cálido. El cuarto es amplio, el techo es alto por lo que hace un poco de frío, pero es parte de su ambientación antigua. No había tv.

Nice hotel close to the Prado
We were surprised to find this nice hotel close to the main boulevard Prado. As the former house of a consul, it has been rebuilt to a hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful on demand. Typical bolivian breakfast is served in the hotel's garden terrace. A few items for improvement: Weak Wifi. Towel trails missing in the bathroom, shower complicated to operate.
