What a wonderful hotel. We stayed for 5 nights. The staff were really helpful and friendly . Very clean. Super powerful shower. Close to the lifts to get up the mountain. Would definitely recommend.

An ideal hotel for a short break skiing. Staff delightful and friendly and with a very short walk of the ski lifts. Rooms were clean and well stocked and in excellent condition and we particularly liked the power shower.Would highly recommend and will be back in future years. Thank you for looking after us so well!

Was just a stopover on way to italy riviera but a lovely find clean and good size room Staff very friendly parking and a delightful town short stroll away and the seating on and park opposite by the water was great

Cleanest hotel in the area
This hotel is extremely clean. I have stayed in La Thuile 5 times and this hotel beats all of them so far. Comfy beds and rooms are spacious

Impressive Hotel, nice location and great views. I booked the Wheelchair Access Room. The bedroom and bathroom were of a good size. Drop handles were provided for the toilet and a pre made seating area in the shower with handles were provided. A wall mounted drop down seat would have been preferred but this set up worked ok. There are two lifts in the hotel and it was easy to park in the street outside the hotel. Breakfast was fine.

Great hotel, very clean and helpful staff
Don't be fooled by the 3 star rating. Personally I'd say it's because it doesn't have a restaurant on site and no swimming pool. The standard was definitely 5 star. I've stayed in higher star rating ski hotels before and nothing touches this. The rooms are immaculate and a good size too. Lovely bathrooms too. The reception is warm and welcoming and the decor is beautiful. There is a delicious selection fof complimentary snacks at tea time if you're having an apres drink. Breakfast consists of a huge selection - something for everyone. All the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. The reception staff went out of their way to reserve restaurants for us and also to arrange the taxi to and from the airport. The ski/boot storage room is immaculate with plenty of space. The hotel itself is conveniently located with the gondola being a max 5 minute walk. An excellent hotel - I would definitely return there.

Very nice and clean hotel in an awesome little town in Italy. The hotel is perhaps a little bit off centered compared to where the restaurants are, but not too far. The only problem with the room was the tiny shower. And the hotel could use a nice fireplace.

We had a great stay at Boton D'or as a family of 5. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the Hotel was relaxing and cosy after skiing all day. We will definitely return and would recommend this Hotel to anyone who would like to stay close to all the facilities for skiing. Couldn't fault it in any way.

Wonderful Hotel
Had a truely wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. All the staff were welcoming and so helpful and really helped to make our stay enjoyable, didn't want to leave! Location is great for skiing and is in a beautiful setting too. Breakfast was lovely, and the homemade cakes were divine. Compliments to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Wonderful Accomodation in La Thuile
Hotel Boton d'Or excels in the most important areas we all look for in a hotel: location, cleanliness, comfort and service. We enjoyed: easy access to the ski slopes, a convenient storage area for our ski equipment, spotless facilities whether it was our room, the breakfast area, the common area or the extensive spa facilities, comfortable beds, and we found all of the staff patient and helpful. An added bonus is that the showers are of exceptional quality. Abundant hot water with adjustable jets made for a very pleasant and refreshing addition to each day. A memorable trip was made even better because of our time at the Hotel Boton d'Or.

Superb rooms in Mountain location
Only booked the day of arrival , manager and staff very helpful and no language problems . Beautifully equipped modern rooms ( Hotel only 4 years old). With Excellent buffet breakfast. No onsite restaurant for evening meal but hotel will book and advise on local restaurants, We used superb restaurant next door which also had great pizzeria with vaulted stone ceiling in the basement. RECOMMENDED

Superb hotel, great position
Excellent service from this super mountain hotel very near to the main ski lifts. Good wellness centre (jacuzzi and sauna) unfortunately only open 4-7 and only with booking. Hotel offered wonderful anti-pasti spread with purchase of a drink from the hotel bar in the evening. Good breakfast. No restaurant but offered to book excellent local spots for dinner with small discount. Very pleased we booked here

Great accommodation for skiing
Very friendly staff, close to ski slopes, nice sauna+jacuzzi area, and clean+confortable rooms. Only minus was that the heater in the toilet was not on (or not working) which made hard to dry gloves, etc. Restaurant just next to the hotel was also good (-15% for hotel guests).

You won't find a better place in La Thuile..
Pros: Great location to ski slopes.. Newly built.. Clean.. Well equipped.. Friendly Staff.. Ski room.. Jacuzzi + sauna.. Cons: Staff not too fluent in english.. No restaurants (only breakfast).. Small rooms.. Small Bathrooms and shower... Single large bed not comfortable (its really just two beds put together).. Small TV.. Very Slow internet, if available at all.. A bit far from town..

Perfekt skidsemester
Trevligt hotell med bra personal hela vägen från reception, frukostvärdinnor och städpersonal. Hemtrevligt och välkomnande reception med bar och vardagsrum. Fina rum med två våningar perfekt för en familj med stora barn. Vi kommer absolut tillbaka när vi ska till La Thuile nästa gång.

Uitstekend hotel!
Het plaatsje La Tuile ligt vrij gunstig als uitvalsbasis voor overal in Val d'Aosta. Het hotel lag niet in het centrum, maar het was maar enkele minuutjes lopen. De hotelservice was uitstekend, hulpvaardig en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was lekker en verzorgd en de kamers waren huiselijk in een gezellige stijl met veel hout ingericht. De wellness was prima en de garage was ruim, al waren beiden niet gratis voor hotelgasten. De wifi was wel kosteloos, al was de verbinding niet optimaal. Wij boekten de kamer met 4 personen. De twee kinderen sliepen beneden, wij sliepen boven. Het slaapgedeelte van de kinderen scheen normaliter een zitruimte te zijn, wat betekende dat wij eigenlijk geen zitgedeelte hadden. Dit ervoeren wij als een nadeeltje, ook omdat er op het balkon geen zitje aanwezig was. Conclusie: mochten wij nog een keer naar Val d'Aosta gaan maakt dit hotel zeker weer een kans!

Très bon hôtel!
Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel le temps d'un weekend et cela s'est très bien passé. Le personnel est très accueillant et veillant à notre confort quotidien. Il parle aussi bien français qu'anglais. La chambre semblait être tout juste rénovée et donc, très propre. Nous vous recommandons cet hôtel.

davvero delizioso!
Ho soggiornato ad agosto con il mio ragazzo e una bambina di 9 anni e sono stata contentissima! Ottimo il personale, e la stanza era davvero deliziosa e accogliente, bagno nuovissimo con doccia multi getto. la spa ha dato un tocco di relax, ed essendo solo su prenotazione non c'è casino. Sicuramente tornerò quest' inverno. Consiglio decisamente questo hotel.

A great stay at this hotel. If you like it more personal and quiet this is a great hotel. Jacuzzis in the basement with a booking system, so you are prevented from being crowded in the bubbles. The staff is wonderful and caring. If you like the non-personal and party ski-holiday, choose somewhere else. This is more the quiet small yet classy thing. Great for couples. Only 3 minutes from the gondola.

L'hotel è situtato in posizione molto comoda: vicinissimo agli impianti di risalita e a pochi passi dal centro. La struttura è pressochè nuova e in ottime condizioni, cura di ogni dettaglio e cordialità sono le parole chiave.
