"L'Oiseau de l'Océan was an amazing discovery. It was clean, well-kept and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle was a nice touch ensuring that trips to the beach and Cascavelle were easy. I also enjoyed the on-site sauna. My only complaint is that the wifi was weak and to make calls, I needed to step outside my room. I didn't mind much because I was on vacation and so didn't need to work. Special commendation goes to Jessica and Richard for going above and beyond."

Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it offers beautiful sunset views, and if you’re staying in Room 3, you'll have a great view of Le Morne. It’s within walking distance of a grocery store and Kind Coffee shop, which my Le Morne guide said was the best coffee he had in Mauritius. This is a great base for exploring the southwest of the island. The only downside was a foul smell near the toilet."
