"Bathroom had lots of mould, walls were pretty beaten up, full of dents and scrapes and was not clean, door off the runner, extractor fan filthy, socket dirty. Shelve that held the china was dirty as was the china. No internet password given, no wardrobe or hangers for clothes, no door between kitchen and bedroom, broken Venetian blind letting light in and dirty, holes in curtains, central light in bedroom naked bulb no shade.
Traffic noise totally unacceptable, almost nonstop roaring vehicles yards from bedroom window, we were unable to sleep. Someone parked outside the window and left their engine running at 3 am. If we had been staying longer than one night we would have left. An absolutely horrible stay."
"We were in town for an event and had to stay for a minimum of two nights due to it being Easter weekend as did the other guests at $220 per night which is alot considering it is a basic motel room.
There was a large family that had also booked in and we were very disappointed when one group out of this family was asked to leave because their kids had their cousins over for a swim who weren't staying at the hotel. The kids were well behaved, having fun and not causing any trouble, nor were the family, they even called the police who attended and escorted the calm family off the property. It was an extreme over reaction in our opinion and we did wonder if it were because the family were of a different culture to the people running the resort. "
"Everything was great however the cleanliness of the room and bathroom were not up to standard. There were hand prints all up the walls and the shower had brown stuff all over the door and seals etc and looked like it had not been cleaned"
"Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised
We recently stayed overnight at Serenity on the Terrace in Mandurah and were very disappointed. Unfortunately, the property looks nothing like the photos advertised online. It is extremely outdated and in poor condition.
There were patches of paint all over the walls, ripped curtains, and the couch was dirty and smelt strongly of mould, which made the place feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. The air conditioning upstairs was also very average and struggled to cool the space properly.
Overall, it felt like false advertising, as the online photos do not reflect the current state of the property at all. We wouldn’t stay again and would not recommend it unless significant improvements and updates are made."
