“This lovely, well equipped cottage had everything one needed when staying in Broken Hill. It was about two kilometres from the railway station - an eady 30 minute walk, but close to bus stops that ran between 8.00am and 5.00pm. Supermarkets were a five mknute walk away. The cottage had two bedrooms, kitchen, family room, large bathroom and laundry. It was spotlessly clean and relatively quiet.There was a carport if you have a car.”

“Great location, beautiful pool area and fabulous host. Cath greeted us at the door and offered advice on places to eat and things to do.”

“The hotel has lost some of its charm after renovations although some may be impressed by the new bar. The stay was spoiled by the loud people in the next room with offensive language. The menu retains its interesting feral options but the remainder would be better if it concentrated on basic Australian staples. Breakfast was very limited in choices. ”

“The host at the Peppercorn is wonderful. Very attentive and lovely to engage in conversation. A wealth of knowledge on the area, things to see and do, and history in abundance The room was immaculate and had direct access to the beautiful pool, Bar, and Dining Lounge. The food was a surprise and the portions were excellent. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We were only there the one night as we were passing through on a major drive from the bottom end to the top end of Australia...

“Nice hotel, very comfortable, service was great. Unfortunately all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. Not good for anyone with mobility issues.”
