Absolutely recommend
The location was incredible. We had a room not facing the streets so it was quiet enough although we hear very well what is happening in other rooms. Overall, it was quite clean, except under the bed which needed vacuuming. We had a very nice stay here. Breakfast was also amazing and staff was friendly and helpful.

A great hotel in a fantastic location.
Friendly and helpful staff make for a pleasant stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Facilities were good and room was very clean.

Lovey room and a nice view of the water from our balcony. Air conditioned room with all you could need and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our cases at the hotel on our final day so we could head out on the ferry. Location is ideal as you can see the ferry stop from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Sehr zentral an einem der attraktivsten Punkte der Stadt, ganz nahe am Seeufer gelegen. Parkiermöglichkeiten in Hotelnähe - nach erlaubter Vorfahrt direkt vor den Hoteleingang zum Entladen/Beladen des Gepäcks - eher überschaubar. Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was man braucht, Zimmer sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Kommen gerne wieder.

Positives: location is excellent. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is generally in really good condition Negatives: the bed sheets had several stains including one which we think was blood. Staff were reluctant to do anything about this and only after two members of staff had been into our room to confirm the sheets were stained were they reluctantly changed. Also the Wi-Fi signal was very weak in our room and kept cutting out. Wasn’t really a problem for us but could be for others.

It's a very cute and clean hotel, it's very convenient to go anywhere, the location is excellent, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are very kind. There are many beautiful buildings of different styles nearby, and there are also many kinds of delicious meals nearby.

Hotel Tripoli is quaint and right in the middle of town. Our room had a wonderful view of the lake and marina, along with beautiful flowers and landscaping between our balcony and the street. Our room accommodated three of us well. It was clean and our needs were covered. This hotel does not offer on site parking. I found a public lot about five blocks away and was able to pay for our overnight parking with my credit card. If memory serves, it was 12 Euros. Overall a very nice experience.

* Location is perfect facing the main plaza and port. * Nice room. * Rooms facing that direction could be a little bit noisy (though it didn't bother me). * I got a wonderful room facing the lake even though that's not what I'd reserved, by paying only a little extra. * A breakfast with lots of options is included.

Check-in alle ore 22.30, nessun problema. Effettuato in meno di 2 minuti. Camera recentemente rinnovata (superior), spaziosa, profumata e ben illuminata. Letto e cuscini comodi. Mobilio essenziale ma funzionale. Presente comoda poltrona trasformabile in letto una piazza. Bagno pulito, doccia ampia, assenza del bidet. La stanza non è insonorizzata, non ci sono stati particolari rumori a parte lo sciacquone della camera accanto. Ho dormito con i tappi, per mia tranquillità. Smart TV Samsung 43" con sezione smart inibita, telecomando NON samsung per SOLO cambio canale e controllo volume. Consiglio di sbloccarla, per permettere l'utilizzo di servizi come Netflix. Ottima colazione, con pietanze salate (prosciutto cotto, pancetta e due formaggi già affettati, pane) e pietanze dolci (selezione di 6 diversi tipi di briosche, mini donuts e mini krapfen ripieni, torta variegata, biscotti vari, pancakes), frutta fresca, cereali, succhi di frutta. Appena seduti siamo stati avvicinati dalla cameriera che ci ha chiesto cosa desiderassimo dal bar, caffè ecc. Cameriere molto presenti, attente a rimpiazzare pietanze o bibite in ammanco. Location di tutto rispetto, lungolago di Desenzano in piazza con bar, ristoranti e locali, ed attracco traghetti proprio di fronte. Hiljattain kunnostettu hotelli keskeisellä sijainnilla aivan sataman vieressä. Hotellin edustalla useita terasseja josta myöhään yöhön kantautuu ääniå. Huoneen ikunat eristää äänet aika hyvin, joten melu ei häirinnyt nukkumista. Huoneet siistit ja tilavat ja aamiainen ihan ok. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja järvinäköalahuoneista upea näköala.

Das Hotel liegt Mitten im Geschehen. Fährhafen, eine sehr gute Eisdiele sowie viele schöne Lokale und Shops sind direkt vor der Haustür. Das Hotel hat selbst ein sehr ansprechendes Café im Eingangsbereich. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und gut, jedoch nichts besonderes. Alles in allem ist es ein bezauberndes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Personal.

I’ll give it a 9 out of 10. Clean rooms, close to everything, check in was easy, great AC, bar service was good. The only draw back was breakfast staff. She seemed to avoid us. We crossed paths 3 times while serving my self, no greetings, no smile, must have been a bad day. Everyone had coffee, so waited for her to ask if we wanted any. Towards the end of my breakfast, I stood up an asked her if I needed to go to bar to order coffee or with her. She then asked what we wanted. Not a big deal, but we all know we need coffee to wake up and start our day. Lol

One day at Lago de Garda.
Staff was great. I arrived early and wanted to ask if I could leave my backpack until check in. Instead, the person in charge checked me in almost 4 hours before the announced check in time. The hotel is conveniently located just across the ferry access. Room was good and bathroom was larger than expected. The only concern was internet access, not reliable and extremely slow. However, I would definitely stay again here.

Easy access to nearby restaurants and across the street, to ferries up the lake. Highly recommend exploring Sirmeone castle and Roman ruins.

Posizione eccellente, nella piazza principale, esattamente di fronte al punto di partenza dei traghetti che ti trasportano nelle altre località del lago. A pochi passi la fermata del bus. Sotto l'hotel tantissimi ristoranti, locali, bar, gelaterie, negozi etc. La mia camera non era spaziosissima ma quelle che danno sulla piazza sono migliori e offrono un vista sul lago meravigliosa. La colazione è buona. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerò

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage und ist grossräumig und modern eingerichtet. Das Personal spricht Englisch und Italienisch. Für 1-2 Nächte ist das Hotel oke, aber für längere Aufenthalte rate ich ab, denn das Frühstücksbuffet ist misserabel. Auf Grund der Coronasituation muss man am Abend vorher sagen was man wil. Dazu bekam man einen Zettel wo man ankreuzen kann, jedoch die selben Sachen wie vor Corona. So mussten wir 10 Tage das selbe Brot, den selben Käse und den selben Schinken essen. Den Auswahl gibt es da nicht. Die Brötchen waren so trocken, dass sie beim aufscheinden in viele kleine Stücke zerfielen. Wir gingen lieber auswärts Frühstücken und bezahlten so doppelt, eimal im Hotel wo wir nicht assen und etwas gutes im Städchen.

Hotel Tripoli is in a wonderful location along the lake and close to countless restaurants. The staff are very friendly and offered a delicious complimentary breakfast. They also stored our luggage without charge on day of check out. Downsides of hotel included WiFi that didn’t actually work in the room and a poorly functioning air conditioner that left us sweating through the night.

Hopefully return again
We stayed here for 9 nights from 3rd to 12 September 2018. This was our 2nd time staying here. The location is perfect. Straight across from the lake, 1 minute walk to bus stops, 5 minute walk to train station. The staff are very helpful- helping us with luggage, booking taxis and general tourist information. There was a lot going on out the front of the hotel- music etc, we had a lake view room so it was right below our window. I thought we would hear everything from our room at night but we didn't hear a thing. We were actually over staying as we were getting married up in Malcesine so a few of our guests also stayed here based on our recommendations. They all enjoyed their stays too! Breakfast is basic but we always found something to eat.

Excellent choice if visiting Desenzano Del Garda
Stayed here for two nights during our trip to Italy and couldn't have been happier! Hotel is conveniently located close to the center of the town and short walking distance from the train station(15 min). The hotel is located on the main strip, so there is foot traffic and open markets during the day. I found the hotel to be modern and clean. All staff members that I interacted with were cheerful and helpful.
