"The staff very friendly and spoke English. The pool was being painted during the time I was there for just a few days in the middle of Aug. The room was very nice with a desk, closet and coat rack with a bench. Had a coffee pot, hair dryer, and fridge but no microwave. I was unaware that breakfast was not included when booking. Good breakfast buffet and it was reasonably priced."

"I was there for a 3 night stay. The king size room was clean and spacious (great for one or two travelers), the staff were always friendly and respectful from the front desk to housekeeping to breakfast service. The breakfast is the standard buffet fare, however, the food was always hot, tasty and plentiful. There is only one elevator for this 3 floor hotel, but I never really had to wait very long for it to come. I had a room on the 3rd floor near the elevator and ice machine, but the ice machine was not working. This became a plus, because I could hear the dings from the elevator in my room, and I imagine the ice machine would have been loud. My room also was on the pool side, and the voices from there do carry up into the room. Otherwise, the room was quiet, the bed was good but maybe a little too soft for me, and I could have had firmer pillows, but that's just me/my preferences. One last note is that it seems the IHG hotels (or maybe the Express locations?) have removed in-room coffee makers with the thought that you can get it made fresh down in the lobby 24/7 and it saves on waste, etc. But, if want a cup of coffee or two in your room before heading down to face the world or grab breakfast, then you have to ask for an in-room coffee maker kit at the front desk."

"After a 3 day stay in Sebring, Florida - I can say the staff was amazing. They were polite and greeted you anytime they saw you and offered assistance every time. The building and rooms were very clean and attended to daily. I never saw anyone standing around. They were cleaning or restocking food or drinks. I have to say it’s one of the most pleasant stays I’ve had short term."

"The property is maintained with attention to detail from every aspect of a historical hotel. We liked the personalized welcome card and the homemade soap and loofah. The location is fantastic and the pub below added to our stay. My wife had a bad knee and not having the elevator was about the only negative, however I’m certain it will be ready next time we visit. Great job and meeting Joey was like a family member making sure our stay was pleasant."
